Here is a list of the AROMATHERAPY SUPPLIES you should have.
1. At least these AROMATHERAPY OILS: Lavender, Tea Tree, Peppermint, Chamomile, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Rosemary, Thyme, Lemon and Clove. At Rocky Mountain Oils, we sell Basic Health Kit, which is a good starter kit for anyone wanting to use AROMATHERAPY OILS and doesn’t know where to start. It has these oils plus a couple of blends we recommend.
2. Fragrancers: also known as simmer pots. The china bowl at the top is filled with water, add 3-6 drops of the oil of your choice, the candle burns underneath to heat water, slowly releasing scent into the room.
3. Plant mister: add 10 drops of an AROMATHERAPY OIL in 7 tablespoons of water. Shake well, put in plant mister.
4. Clay bottles: these are small, corked bottles. Add the AROMATHERAPY OIL to the bottle, cork it and oils are slowly absorbed by the clay and released into the room (Great for wardrobes. Try lavender, melissa, or cedarwood to keep away moths).
5. Ring burners: these are small rings, usually made of porcelain or aluminum that sit on top of a light bulb. Add a few drops of the AROMATHERAPY OIL, the heat of the lit bulb slowly releases the scent into the room.
6. Aromatherapy diffuser: A diffuser disperses a mist of the essential oil particles into the air. There are various types of diffusers available. We sell the Jet Diffuser , which we have found to be the best on the market.
7. First aid kit: this is one of the more important AROMATHERAPY SUPPLIES. It needs large and small bandages, scissors, tweezers, adhesive tape, cotton balls, gauze, cotton cloth for compresses, small measuring cup or egg cup (for mixing AROMATHERAPY OILS), a 2 fluid ounce bottle of a carrier oil and these AROMATHERAPY OILS: Geranium, Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Sweet Marjoram and Tea Tree.
8. You also need distilled water, carrier oils, Aloe Vera, Witch Hazel, and Rose Water.
