  • Description

    Rocky Mountain Oils’ Breath Ease was formulated to assist and strengthen the respiratory system.  It stimulates the regeneration of lung tissue, which helps strengthen the lungs. It can also help you prevent and treat bronchitis, pneumonia,  flu, colds, coughs, and sore throats. It helps soothe laryngitis, fevers, and sinusitis.

    It works really well as an expectorant and helps expel mucus and reduce inflammation.  It is great to use for anything viral, bacterial, and fungal. It has even been used when treating cold sores.

    It is a stimulant to the thymus and an immune booster and it helps boost your  energy.  

    Scent: Rocky Mountain Oils’ Breath Ease has a strong, sharp, menthol-like scent with a citrus feel to it. It clears the sinuses and makes you breathe just a little deeper. It feels medicinal and it makes your lungs feel stronger.

    Ingredients: Eucalyptus globulus, Eucalyptus citriodora, Myrtle, Eucalyptus radiata, Peppermint (India), Spruce, Ravintsara, Pine, and Sweet Marjoram.

    Caution: Asthmatics may react to the Eucalyptus globulus; use this blend with caution. Do not use topically on children younger than 3.

    Rocky Mountain Oils’ Breathe Ease  has helped some people get rid of bone spurs.

    Oils used


    Eucalyptus globulusEucalyptus radiata, and Eucalyptus citriodora: These help open the breathing passages and are excellent to use when treating asthma, laryngitis, sore throat, colds, and other respiratory illnesses. They are also very useful in meditations when you are suffering from a cold or other respiratory infection. They help open your breathing so you can keep your mind clear and focused. They have a regenerative effect on pulmonary tissue.


    Myrtle (Myrtus communis):  It helps you clear coughs and chest complaints. Because of its sedative nature, it relaxes the airways and makes it easier to breathe. It will help you treat several respiratory problems including smoker's cough, bronchitis, flu, colds, tuberculosis, sinus infection, asthma, and other pulmonary disorders. It will also help relieve sore throats.


    Peppermint (India) (Mentha piperita):  Because of the menthol constituent, it helps you treat throat infections, and colds and flu. It particularly is good for treating asthma, bronchitis, and sinusitis.


    Spruce (Tsuga canadensis):  It is a great oil to use when treating colds, flu, and other respiratory infections. In particular, it helps break up excessive mucus and congestion.


    Ravintsara (Cinnamonum camphora):   It is a top oil for strengthening the lungs and the respiratory system. It will help you treat lung infections, flu, and sinusitis. It is also a very useful oil for fighting influenza epidemics.


    Pine (Pinus nigra):   Pine is an excellent essential oil to use for respiratory illnesses. It helps clear out the sinuses very quickly. It is great to use for asthma, bronchitis, catarrh, coughs, sinusitis, sore throat, colds, and flu. Because of its strong expectorant properties, it will help you clear extra mucus out of your throat and lungs.


    Sweet Marjoram (Origanum marjorana L.):   It has been known to help the respiratory system, especially as an expectorant. It is an excellent oil to use when treating asthma and other chronic respiratory issues. It also helps treat sinusitis, bronchitis, coughs, colic, and colds. 

  • Additional Information

    You will need to blend Rocky Mountain Oils’ Breath Ease with a carrier oil before using topically. A general guideline is 4-8 drops in  ½ teaspoon of carrier oil for adult topical use. Once you have tried it, you will know if you need to blend more or less.   

    It will need to be blended more with children. A general guideline can be found here: Always test on a nickel sized portion of skin first. Make sure your skin can handle the oil/blend before using.  

    Diffuse Rocky Mountain Oils’ Breath Ease daily during cold & flu season for best results. Blend in a carrier oil and massage topically to the lungs and throat areas and apply a hot wet towel compress keeping on for about 15 minutes. Put a few drops on your pillowcase at night.


    Breathe Ease Mist Spray

              • 75 drops Breathe Ease
              • 4 ounces Distilled Water

    Add all ingredients to a 4 ounce, fine mist spray bottle. Shake well before every use. Liberally spritz room as often as needed. Can refill the water 2-3 times before needing to refill the oil.



    Breathe Ease Carpet Freshener

              • 100 drops Breathe Ease
              • 1/2 cup Baking Soda

    Mix all ingredients in a ziploc type bag. Seal and massage bag until essential oils are thoroughly mixed in. Pour into a glass jar and seal with a lid. Sprinkle over carpeting, leave for 10–15 minutes and vacuum.
