It is analgesic, antifungal (candida), antibacterial (strong action), antimicrobial (staph, strep, pneuma, coli, Klebs, typhus), antispasmodic, antiviral, anti-infectious, deodorant, immune stimulant. Choose over E. Citriodora when there is cold phlegm pattern-predominance of cold, white, watery mucus in lungs and sinuses, joints may be affected, tongue thick with sticky white coat. Beneficial for burns, blisters, cuts, insect bites, repellant, lice, skin infections, increases respiratory metabolism of skin cells, (oxygen discharge, carbon dioxide intake) oxygenates skin. It has a regenerative effect on pulmonary tissue, aids chronic bronchitis, tuberculosis, pulmonary gangrene, diphtheria, catarrh, coughs, sinusitis, flu, throat infections, pneumonia, and deep lung infections. Benefits muscle aches and pains, arthritis, poor circulation, swollen glands (infections), aids hemorrhages, flu, epidemics (chickenpox, measles, cholera) fever, malaria, typhus, roseola, and immune stimulant. Assists hypoglycemia, raises blood sugar in diabetes, eases genito-urinary inflammations and infections (especially E. coli), headaches, debility, clears head, aids concentration. Caution: This oil should never be taken internally. In small amounts it may be fatal (death of child reported after ingestion of 5 mls). Avoid application near infants' nostrils because of risk of spasm of glottis, due to cooling effect on respiratory system.
