Vitex Agnes Castus - Isle of Crete

 

This oil has traditionally been used for female hormonal problems, assisting to resume halted menstrual bleeding, stopping cramps and depression, relieving breast pains and swelling. Relaxes the nerves, frees spasms, relieves pain and calms the liver. It regulates the pituitary and harmonizes the endocrine system. Known for its benefits as a decongestant, stimulant and relaxant action on liver, intestines and uterus. It has been found to be 89% successful in remission of Parkinson's Disease in laboratory animals. May be beneficial used in the Rejuvenation Technique, on the ankles or the feet.
Caution: Should not be used during pregnancy since it is a uterine stimulant.
