Rocky Mountain Oils’ Bug Away Roll-on is a 2% dilution of our popular Bug Away Essential Oil Blend, which combines the natural insect-repelling powers of Citronella, Cedarwood Atlas, Lavender, Lemongrass, and Thyme oils. Prediluted in a moisturizing base of Fractionated Coconut Oil (FCO), this Roll-on is a perfect alternative to chemical bug sprays like DEET. It’s safe and effective.
Simply roll onto your skin to keep mosquitoes, gnats, flies, and other bothersome critters away from you and your family. Try it for day hikes, camping trips, or summer evenings in the backyard. Travel-sized roll-on is easy to carry and store in backpacks, carry-on luggage, and first-aid kits. Apply before going outside and reapply as needed.
If bugs do bite, you can also use the Bug Away Roll-on to soothe itchiness and irritation thanks to the anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties of these essential oils.

Bug Away Roll-on Uses
- Prediluted essential oil mosquito repellent and bug repellent roll-on is ready for immediate application on the skin for adults and children ages 2 and up.
- Use this essential oil bug repellent roll-on before going outside and reapply as needed.
- Use the roller to gently apply Bug Away Oil Blend to the skin on the neck, arms, hands, legs, and feet, or any exposed skin where bugs may bite.
- Apply to pre-existing bites or other skin irritation for relief from itching, redness, and discomfort.
This blend is pre-diluted at a 2% dilution rate. It is safe to apply topically on children who are 2 years of age and older.

Can kids use essential oil bug and mosquito repellent?
Yes! Rocky Mountain Oils’ Bug Away Essential Oil Roll-on is safe for kids ages 2 and up. However, we recommend conducting a patch test prior to extensive, continuous topical use. Apply a tiny amount to one section of your child’s skin, then wait for 15 minutes to determine if irritation occurs. If your child is sensitive, you can apply additional carrier oil.
