Very good product, especially in conjunction with other oils.
I used this in conjunction with two other oils(Copiaba/Massage Blend)and made a rollerball to put on my sprained ankle right after it happened. It took away swelling and has helped with the pain!

It works!
This stuff is amazing. It is good by itself but also seems to work synergistically with other essential oils to improve their efficacy. This one smells better than the lesser priced species. But even then, it is stinky.

What is the difference in the two helichrysums?
patti on Sep 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Helichrysum is well known for its healing properties and we offer two varieties: Helichrysum gymnocephalum and Helichrysum italicum.

Helichrysum gymnocephalum is commonly used for pain, bruising, and inflammation; however, it is not as effective on open wounds. High content of 1,8 cineole, helps provide support to the healthy function of the respiratory system. Not to be used on children under 10 years old.

Helichrysum italicum forms part of our pain and skin collection. Helichrysum italicum helps promote the skin’s natural healing process while minimizing the appearance of bruises. Its wellness properties may help ease the pain of sore muscles and overused joints. This oil is beloved by our customers for injuries and quicker healing.
