What should it be stored in? Thank you!

It can be stored in a glass jar that has a lid such as a mason jar. However, we found it easy to make a small batch and use it up in one cleaning session.

Hi. Thanks for this recipe. I’m assuming I can store the leftover mixture in a glass jar. Would that be correct? If so, how long does a batch of this keep? Thanks!

You are correct! A glass jar with a lid would work. This mixture does not keep long as you are creating a paste and it tends to dry out over time. If you store it you may need to rehydrate it with a little water.

Is this citrus surface scrub safe on stainless steel? I’m concerned whether it may scratch surfaces. I’m anxious to try it on other surfaces too.

Baking Soda will softly clean without scratching. However, we recommend using a soft sponge and trying a test spot.

Can you use just the oil blend to clean with?

Shera Smith | April 4, 2017 | Reply

We do not recommend using just essential oil alone to clean surfaces. It will not have the same desired outcome and essential oils are very concentrated and could do harm to some surfaces.

Can you add a Pinterest button so it’s easy to save to my board?

Lisa, Yes! We are working on that currently so we can offer that feature in the future.
