I want to know about couch bed bug can off tea tree oil not work???

Sandra Halstead | September 10, 2020 | Reply

Hi Sandra! Thanks for this question.
There have been some studies that suggest using some essential oils, such as Thyme, Tea Tree, Peppermint, Clove, or Eucalyptus can help prevent and even sometimes eliminate bed bugs from your space. To do this, we would suggest creating a simple spray using 10-20 drops of essential oils to 30ml of water and spraying on the infested areas every day.

I am wondering if repeated use of EO spray on my yoga mat (made of rubber) will break down and eventually fall apart.

Hi Anne! Thanks so much for this question.

Some essential oils, when used repeatedly on rubber, may break down the material. For a natural yoga mat cleaner that you can use to clean your rubber mat, we recommend using a mixture of 1/2 cup distilled water, 1/2 cup white vinegar, and 5 drops Tea Tree. Simply spray the mixture onto your mat, wipe down in one direction, and hang up to dry in a space that is out of direct sunlight to prevent degradation. Hope this is helpful!
