Organic Essential Oils FAQ's

Q:Why did you add Organic essential oils to your product offering?

A:We listened to our valued customers request and responded by launching six organic essential oils - Frankincense (Serrata), Lavender, Lemon, Orange, Peppermint, and Tea Tree. We’re excited to provide more options to choose from in our premium essential oil offering.

Q:Is Rocky Mountain Oils bringing on more Organic essential oils?

A:Definitely! We’ll be launching more organic essential oils soon.

Q:What does it mean to be Certified Organic?

A:For a product to be Certified Organic or USDA Organic, it requires 95 percent of the content to be organic by weight excluding water and salt. The "<"5% remaining ingredients must consist of substances approved on the USDA’s National list.

Q:What is the difference between Organic and Non-Organic?

A:Certified Organic or USDA Organic relates to the quality of farming practices. We hold ourselves to a higher standard, completing the extensive process for each of our essential oils to be tested for pesticides by a third party lab. All of our oils have passed pesticide testing and are the purest, most therapeutic essential oils available. We only work with quality farmers and suppliers that are experts in their craft. Everything from growing, harvesting, distillation, shipping, storage, testing, and bottling has been done with exceptionally high standards.

Q:Are Rocky Mountain Oils Non-GMO?

A:Yes.

Q:Can you ingest your Organic oils?

A:Essential oils are very potent and need to be used correctly. All of our oils are 100% pure, natural, and authentic. However, we cannot provide dosing suggestions or directions on how to ingest if you choose to do so. If you do choose to ingest the oils, we suggest consulting an Aromatherapist or trusted medical professional.
