Organic Lavender Essential Oil

USDA Certified Organic Lavender Essential Oil (Lavandula angustifolia) is also commonly known as English Lavender, Garden Lavender, Common Lavender, True Lavender, and Narrow-Leaved Lavender. Lavender Essential Oil has a medium-strength floral, herbaceous, and woody aroma presenting a top-middle fragrance note.

We included Organic Lavender Essential Oil in our Mood, Skin Care, and Sleep collections. The oil is extensively used in soaps, bath oils, perfumes, DIY skin care, and linen sprays. Add Organic Lavender to a diffuser or aroma inhaler and breathe deeply for a calming effect. Use the oil prior to bedtime for a restful night’s sleep.

When added to a carrier oil, Organic Lavender works great as an after-sun skin moisturizer. Add to massage oil for a relaxing massage that calms overworked muscles.

Oily Skin Care

• 8 drops Ylang Ylang
• 6 drops Juniper Berry
• 6 drops Orange
• 6 drops Organic Lavender
• 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Combine all ingredients to help rejuvenate your skin. Before using, wash your skin thoroughly, then massage in a portion of the formula. Apply daily. Store in a dark colored, glass bottle.

Back Massage

• 4 drops Organic Lavender
• 2 drops Rosewood
• 1 tablespoon FCO

Apply to back using gentle massage.
