Lavender Bulgaria Essential Oil

Lavandula angustifolia | Essential Oil
Availability: In Stock
$22.95

Lavender Bulgaria Essential Oil (Lavandula angustifolia) is also commonly known as English Lavender, Garden Lavender, Common Lavender, True Lavender, and Narrow-Leaved Lavender. Lavender Bulgaria Essential Oil has a medium-strength floral, herbaceous, sweet, and woody aroma presenting a top-middle fragrance note.

We added Lavender Bulgaria Essential Oil as part of the Rocky Mountain Oils Skin Care and Sleep collections for its gentle, soothing properties. This universal oil is extensively used in soaps, bath oils, perfumes, DIY skin care, and linen sprays. Add Lavender Bulgaria oil to a diffuser or aroma inhaler, and breathe deeply for a calming effect. Use the oil prior to bedtime for a restful night’s sleep.

When added to a carrier oil, Lavender Bulgaria works great as an after-sun skin moisturizer. Add to a carrier oil for a relaxing massage blend that calms overworked muscles.

Lavender Bulgaria vs Lavender Greece

  • Lavender Bulgaria’s aroma is floral, herbaceous, sweet, and woody, but its herbaceous scent is heavier than that of Lavender Greece’s more traditional aroma. Lavender Bulgaria has been reported to promote even deeper, more restful sleep than Lavender Greece. For those who are not fans of the traditional lavender scent, we encourage you to give this more herbal and rich variety a try.

  • Lavender Greece’s aroma is also floral, herbaceous, sweet, and woody, but its sweet notes outweigh those of Lavender Bulgaria’s more herbal aroma. Lavender Greece tends to be the more familiar lavender scent and is more popular among our customers.

One of my favorite oils
I use lavender as one of my "go to" oils. We use it mostly for burns, both from hot items and sunburns. This oil also helps skin blemishes for both teenagers and adults. I am glad to have found Rocky Mountain Oils so we can have great oils at an affordable cost.

My 12 yr old son has always had a problem falling asleep at night. Lavender has helped him fall asleep faster and he doesn’t wake in the middle of the night either. He begs me for this in his new diffuser and loves the smell. Just wish they had something for the tween attitude!!!

What isn’t the difference between the lavender from Greece vs Bulgaria?
Ha P on May 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Both of our Lavender oils are of the same botanical variety. Because the weather and growing conditions in each country vary and affect the scent of the oil, the central difference between the two is the scent. Lavender Greece has a sweet and floral scent, the traditional scent with which most people are familiar, while Lavender Bulgaria has a more potent, herbaceous scent. Their therapeutic properties are essentially the same.

Thanks!

My last bottle of Vetiver does not smell like what I am use to. Any reason for this?. It also does not seem to be as grounding.
Bettye F on May 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Due to different growing conditions (weather, soil, etc.), each batch of oil can vary in scent. Because our oils are of the highest quality, the scent reflects the growing conditions when the oil is distilled. Through the distillation process, the scent remains true to the plant. If the current batch scent does not settle with you, we provide a 90 Day No Hassle Return Policy and Satisfaction Guarantee. https://www.rockymountainoils.com/return-policy/
How many drops do you put in a diffuser?
A shopper on Jan 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The general guideline is to use 5-10 total drops per 100ml's of water in the diffuser. Diffusion comes with a lot of trial and error. Feel free to play around with mixing the oils and find what works best for you.

can this be ingested?
jessica g on Nov 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Essential oils are very potent and can be dangerous if not used correctly.

All of our oils are 100% pure, natural, and authentic. However, we cannot provide dosing suggestions or directions on how to ingest if you choose to do so.

If you do choose to ingest the oils, we suggest consulting an Aromatherapist or trusted health professional for guidance.

Thanks!

How do i pay with my mastercard gift card? it won't let me set it up.
serenity on Nov 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If the Mastercard gift card covers the full amount of the purchase it should be fine to use. However, if it does not cover the full amount, unfortunately, we only allow one form of payment per order.
