Orange Essential Oil (Citrus sinensis) is also commonly known as Sweet Orange. Orange Essential Oil has a medium‐strength citrusy, sweet aroma presenting a top fragrance note.

The bright, just-peeled scent of Orange Essential Oil is part of the Rocky Mountain Oils Relief and Cleaning collections. The gentle oil is great for any skin care routine, especially for those with dry, dehydrated, or oily complexions.

Diffuse Orange oil to help stimulate a cheerful mood and optimism. Orange Essential Oil is a great oil to use when you need to experience a little joy. It’s also a great oil to diffuse in a child’s room to encourage a good night’s rest.

Soften Dry Hands

Mix all three together and store in a dark, glass bottle. Use at night before going to bed. Apply mixture generously to hands. Massage thoroughly. Put on a pair of 100% cotton gloves and wear overnight. In the morning, massage hands thoroughly once again before washing.


Sugarlips Scrub

  • ¼ cup fine Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cup  Olive Oil
  • 3 drops Orange
  • 2 drops Cucumber Seed

Combine all ingredients in a Ziploc bag, close tightly and massage bag until all ingredients are mixed in thoroughly. Store in a clean container, then cap and label. Massage a small amount into your lips using your fingertips and rinse with warm water. Use within 3 months.

Possible skin sensitization. To extend shelf life keep in a cool dark place with cap tightly sealed. Can keep in a refrigerator.

I put a few drops in my dishwasher in a cup of vinegar to sanitize and freshen up. Works great in the washing machine too!
I also add many different essential oils to a cotton ball and suck it up with the vacuum to fragrance the house as I vacuum. Orange, eucalyptus, tea tree, and peppermint work great for this! I also sniff it to brighten up my day :)

Is this the same as sweet orange oil and is it photosensitive like other citrus oils? I'd like to use it in some lip balm.

15-20 drops of the Orange Essential Oil with 2 cups of water in a BPA-Free Plastic Spray Bottle will be a good way to start cleaning your equipment.
