Counting Sheep Essential Oil Blend’s Lavender (Hungary) constituent is known to encourage restful sleep while minimizing the effects of everyday stress and tension. Whether your child is afraid of monsters under the bed or nervous about tomorrow’s school play, Counting Sheep can help him or her drift off peacefully.

This blend is part of our Kids Line Collection. The roll-on comes pre-diluted at a two percent dilution and is safe to apply topically on children who are two years or older.

Keep it handy!

Counting Sheep my favorite.
I love Counting Sheep.....but the one I just bought is for a gift and not for me. I can't say that the fragrance puts me to sleep.....but I love the smells......especially the sandalwood......and it leaves me feeling good as I go to sleep.

What is the “Adult” version of this product?

There is no "Adult" version of the Counting Sheep essential oil blend, however, the most similar blend that we have to Counting Sheep would be Tranquility.

How much should I apply to my children?

BEST ANSWER: We would suggest applying as needed. 2-3 swipes at a time but do not exceed 3 times daily. The most common areas for topical application include rubbing the diluted oil on the back of the neck, behind the ear, on the wrist, the bottom of the feet or on the targeted area. Thanks!

BEST ANSWER: Hello! As this is a kid safe oil, adults are free to use it as well. We do however have a similar blend with a higher dilution rate called Dreamtime. This blend has both similar ingredients and therapeutic properties!

What is the shelf life of roll-on oils?

BEST ANSWER: Great question! Our oils do not have an expiration date. Essential oils do not “go bad” in that they become rancid, but their therapeutic properties can lose potency. If kept in a cool (room temperature or cooler), dark place with the cap tightly sealed, all oils should maintain their therapeutic potency for about 3-8 years. However, citrus oils have a shorter time frame of 1-3 years. Some oils, such as Patchouli, Vetiver and Blue Tansy actually increase in potency.

Hi, I ordered this and just received it. It was not sealed in any way. Just a lid screwed on and slightly leaking, although the bottle appears full. Is this supposed to be sealed or have a plastic seal around it?

We truly apologize for the inconvenience in regards to your order. That does not usually happen. Our Roll-Ons do not have a plastic seal that covers the cap, however, they are supposed to be tightly sealed so they should not leak in the package upon arrival.
