Helichrysum Italicum Essential Oil (Helichrysum italicum) is also commonly known as Immortelle, Everlasting Flower, and Curry Plant. Helichrysum Italicum Essential Oil has a medium-strength sweet, earthy, and rich herbal aroma presenting a middle-base fragrance note.

We included the floral Helichrysum Italicum Essential Oil as part of our Rocky Mountain Oils Relief and Skin Care collections. The slightly fruity oil is a great addition to your daily skincare routine. Diffuse the oil or inhale the scent directly from the bottle to achieve a grounding effect. Blend Helichrysum Italicum with lavender to create a soothing after-sun moisturizer.

Best overall oil
This is claimed to be the best overall oil. I don’t care for the smell (it kind of reminds me of sweaty socks, but it’s really not that bad). We don’t use most oils the the scent, do we?
It is one oil that I always carry on trips, no matter what.
Helichrysum is Very strong, so use with caution. RMO has wonderfully potent oils and I have been using them for many years.

Fantastic healing oil
I would absolutely recommend this oil. It heals so fast! I use it in my oil blends for cracked, dry skin. I have used it immediately on scrapes and cuts and it takes away the pain and bleeding and the wound heals quickly. Very impressed. Do not want to be without it.

What is the difference in the two helichrysums?
patti on Sep 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Helichrysum is well known for its healing properties and we offer two varieties: Helichrysum gymnocephalum and Helichrysum italicum.

Helichrysum gymnocephalum is commonly used for pain, bruising, and inflammation; however, it is not as effective on open wounds. High content of 1,8 cineole, helps provide support to the healthy function of the respiratory system. Not to be used on children under 10 years old.

Helichrysum italicum forms part of our pain and skin collection. Helichrysum italicum helps promote the skin’s natural healing process while minimizing the appearance of bruises. Its wellness properties may help ease the pain of sore muscles and overused joints. This oil is beloved by our customers for injuries and quicker healing.
