Hair Growth!
So high quality and perfect for hair growth!! I’ve had thinning/receding areas around my temples due to always wearing my hair in a tight bun, and I did some research to see which products and methods could possibly grow it back. Apparently, rosemary essential oil performs as well as minoxidil or rogaine when applied to the scalp, so I decided to give it a try. It’s been about a month now and I have SO MANY NEW BABY HAIRS covering the sparse areas on my temples!! I have been applying several drops to my hands and rubbing it into my whole scalp, focusing on the sparse areas. I also massage in castor oil. I then put a thermal heat cap over my head for about 15 minutes. I do this before every time I wash my hair. This is obviously some high quality stuff! And it smells great!

Can you use this oil in your hair?
A shopper on Apr 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have used a drop of Rosemary and a drop of peppermint to my shampoo before washing my hair. I follow up with a drop of ylang ylang in my conditioner. My hair stylist says that my hair seems healthier and shinier! I've seen Rosemary in after shampoo hair tonics, and have seen a recipe that I want to try.
Is it safe to consume?
A shopper on Dec 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Essential oils are very potent and can be dangerous if not used correctly.

All of our oils are 100% pure, natural, and authentic. However, we cannot provide dosing suggestions or directions on how to ingest if you choose to do so.

If you do choose to ingest the oils, we suggest consulting an Aromatherapist or trusted health professional for guidance.

Does Rosemary work by itself to increase concentration or do you have to blend it with several other products as shown under the "Usage" tab?
Beth P on Jun 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Rosemary is definitely a great one to use by itself. However, blending it with other essential oils can provide different properties and effects.
Can this be diluted in carrier oil and given to children under 10 years old?
shaz_26 on Jul 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We would not recommend the use of Rosemary topically on children under the age of 10 years.
What is the shelf life of Rosemary? I have some that is not THAT old - smelled like Rosemary at first but now it smells like Eucalyptus. Has been stored in a wood box in a room in my house, not in the sun or anything.
Kim J on Dec 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Our oils do not have an expiration date. Essential oils do not “go bad” in that they become rancid, but their therapeutic properties can lose potency. If kept in a cool (room temperature or cooler), dark place with the cap tightly sealed, oils should maintain their therapeutic potency for about 3-5 years.

Does this help with flaky scalp?
Mayer K C on Oct 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Rosemary essential oil helps increase and stimulate circulation, which can help your hair follicles stay healthy, promoting natural hair growth. Rosemary can also calm an itchy scalp.

Thanks! -RMO Team
Is this safe to diffuse around children?
Christina T on Jul 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The age recommendation for Rosemary is 10 and up. We would recommend checking our our Kids Safety and Dilution rates pages. I've provided links to those pages below.

I have a baby and toddler. I want to use rosemary to deter cats from peeing in a closet. I also want to wear it. Can I do either of those things safely?
Erica B on Mar 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately we do not have information on using essential oils around pets. We would recommend consulting an aromatherapist for more specific safety guidance regarding animals.

Thanks! -RMO Team
