Loads of Fun

Essential Oil Blend
Availability: In Stock

Loads of Fun Essential oil blend brings a bright fresh, citrus aroma with a hint of sweet mint to your laundry when added to the dryer. Ditch the artificially fragranced commercial dryer sheet for a natural aroma with essential oils. Simply add Loads of Fun essential oil blend to a homemade dryer sheet, dry washcloth or to wool dryer balls with your clothes in the dryer. Leaving clothes smelling great.

Try diffusing Loads of Fun when you need an extra pick me up throughout the day.

Each of Rocky Mountain Oils' premium essential oil blends is composed of a unique blend of essential oil elements.

Loads of Fun: Orange, Grapefruit, Lemon, Tangerine, Wintergreen

How to use:

  • Wool Dryer Ball: Add 3-6 drops of Loads of Fun to each dryer ball. Toss 4-8 of the dryer balls into the dryer with wet clothes (use 6-8 dryer balls for large loads as this will help dry the clothes faster). Re-use over and over again. Add more essential oil as needed, usually after the third load of laundry.  Smells great and has the added bonus of reducing dry time and static cling!

  • Washcloth: Add 4-8 drops of Loads of Fun to a dry washcloth. Toss into the dryer with wet clothes. Add more oil to the washcloth with each load of laundry

DIY Dryer Sheets: Mix 1 cup of white vinegar with 20+ drops of Loads of Fun essential oil blend. Pour mixture over cloth squares (such as fabric scraps, cloth baby wipes or old tee shirt). Allow fabric to soak in the mixture then wring out the excess liquid. Store in a sealable container. Toss one into the dryer with each load of clothes! White vinegar helps reduce static cling and the scent will evaporate, leaving behind the bright clean scent of Loads of Fun!

Seems strong at first but is GREAT for the dryer
I use this on wool dryer balls and it is wonderful! It seems a little over powering when you first open the bottle and the smells seem a little different from what you'd use in your dryer but the heat from the dryer seem to help to blend the aromas and make things come out nice and fresh and not "smelly".

I really like the light scent of Loads of Fun. I like a little scent to my laundry, but not something that is overpowering. This fits the bill perfectly. My sensitive skin family is doing great with it!

What’s difference between loads of fun and lavandin?
A shopper on Jan 21, 2021

Lavandin Essential Oil offers a very classic floral and fresh aroma. Created in the early 1920’s, this essential oil is known as a hybrid of the traditional Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and Spike Lavender (Lavandula latifolia) varieties. Also known as Lavandin “Grosso”, Lavandin produces a much larger yield of essential oil compared to the traditional Lavandula angustifolia. Because of its high availability, it is more commonly used in personal recipes.

Loads of Fun Essential oil blend brings a bright fresh, citrus aroma with a hint of sweet mint to your laundry when added to the dryer.

I heard that citrus oils can bleach fabric. Should I not use this blend for dark laundry?
STACEY T. on Jan 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Good question! This is something we have not heard of that happening. When used correctly on dryer balls or mixed in the washer it should not bleach the fabric. Thanks!-RMO Team
Will this scent the laundry if added to vinegar in rinse cycle? I don't use dryer balls/sheets or want the additional step of adding drops to the dryer. I use vinegar as a softener, but would like it to be scented. Just wondering if the ratio would be the same as suggested for soaking dryer sheets.
CA lady on Nov 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Great question! It is up to personal preference when it comes to deciding the amount of essential oil to add to your laundry. However we would not be able to give an exact amount as we have not tested added essential oil to vinegar.

Do you recommend putting this blend directly on the dryer balls or to dilute it first? I love the scent and the softness, but my legs have broken out in hives recently and the only different product I am using is the dryer balls with the oil drops. I was using it directly from the bottle on the balls. Of course, I could have an allergy to wool that I was unaware of, but was wondering if you have received any questions about allergic reactions and if I should dilute if I ditch the dryer balls and try this on a washcloth.
donna r on Sep 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Great question! You may put the blend directly on the dryer ball. To reduce the chance of skin sensitivity we do suggest diluting oils with a carrier oil. If the Wool Dryer Balls are not working out for you, you may contact us to set up a return.

I have a hard time smelling anything I actually put on dryer balls. I have put in at the beginning and middle of the load. any suggestions?
A shopper on Sep 12, 2018

We recommend our customers to experiment with the oils, every person reacts differently to each oils and the strength in scents can vary per person. We encourage to try different amounts of essential oil drops until you find a scent that is good for you!
