Eucalyptus Essential Oil Varieties

  • Eucalyptus citriodora’s aroma is strong, fresh, citronella-like, sweet, and balsamic. Eucalyptus citriodora is calming to the nervous and respiratory systems.

  • Eucalyptus radiata’s aroma is fresh, clean, medicinal, and slightly woody with additional sweet and fruity notes making the scent a bit softer. Eucalyptus radiata is considered the most therapeutic of the varieties.

Do not use Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil on children under 10 years old (consider Eucalyptus citriodora or Myrtle as a safer alternative for children 2 years +). Refrain from using while pregnant or breastfeeding. Always apply Eucalyptus with a carrier oil for topical application. Click here for dilution rates.

Are you able to ingest this oil
Julie K on Jan 31, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Great question! Essential oils are very potent and can be dangerous if not used correctly.

All of our oils are 100% pure, natural, and authentic. They are of the quality to be taken internally. However, we cannot provide dosing suggestions or directions on how to ingest if you choose to do so.

If you do choose to ingest the oils, we suggest consulting an Aromatherapist or trusted health professional for guidance. Follow the link below for help finding an aromatherapist.
