From high-intensity workouts to hiking in the mountains, or using muscles you haven't used in a while when you did the yard work, sore muscles can be a hindrance to daily life. That's why our True Blue Essential Oil Blend combines oils from some of nature's most powerful anti-inflammatory plants. This helps the blend penetrate deep into the tissue and relieve achy joints and muscles, allowing you to continue living your life without missing a beat. 

The oils in True Blue also offer mental relief from feelings of stress and anxiousness. Its calming, minty aroma can ease feelings of frustration, boost energy and mental alertness, and promote feelings of peace. 

True Blue has a warm, herbal, and minty aroma. It is a synergistic blend of Wintergreen, Peppermint, Helichrysum gymnocephalum, Blue Tansy, and Spruce oils. 

Warning: This blend contains Blue Tansy, which has a thick, ink-like viscosity. The oil has a very strong blue color and can potentially stain clothes, porous material, and skin.

True Blue contains pure Wintergreen, Peppermint, Helichrysum, Blue Tansy, and Spruce essential oils.

Tips 
  • Dilute and apply topically to areas of discomfort, including sore muscles and joints. 
  • Diffuse to promote greater feelings of peace, serenity, and happiness. 
  • Add a drop to your facial cleanser to promote clean, clear skin.
Achy Muscle Cream
  • 30 drops True Blue
  • 2 capsules Evening Primrose oil
  • 1 teaspoon FCO (Fractionated Coconut Oil) 
  • 1 cup shea butter
Melt shea butter in a double boiler over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and add the FCO and Primrose oil. Stir to combine. Add the True Blue, and stir to combine. Put the mixture in a container and allow to cool completely. Close the lid and label. Massage a liberal amount of the cream into affected areas 2-3 times a day as needed. 

Truly Soothing Massage Oil
  • 15 drops True Blue
  • carrier oil of your choice
  • 15ml bottle
Add True Blue to your empty 15ml bottle, then fill the rest of the bottle with a carrier oil of your choice. Put the cap back on to the bottle. Apply a drop of the blend to the targeted areas, and massage into the skin. Apply more oil as needed. 

WARNING: This blend contains Blue Tansy. Blue Tansy has a thick, ink-like viscosity. The oil has a very strong blue color and can potentially stain clothes, porous material, and skin.

Be sure to perform a patch test and dilute with a carrier oil before applying the blend topically. 

Kids Safety: Safe to use on children who are 10 years of age and older. Dilute to a .5-1% dilution rate before applying topically on children.

Practice Safe Diffusion 

  • Diffuse in an open, well-ventilated area. 
  • Keep children out of the direct line of mist. 
  • Diffuse in 30-60 minute intervals with ample break periods for safe and effective use.

Wonderful EO blend
This is great oil. I have blended it with some jojoba oil and use it for pain. My shoulder feels better and so does my husbands back. I love the combination of EO's used and the smell.

How many drops do you use with the carrier oil in a roll on?

BEST ANSWER: For an adult, the general guideline is to use 6-15 drops of the essential oil per 2 tsp of carrier oil in a 10 ml roll on bottle.

Would Relieve Me, True Blue, or First Aid be best for knee/joint pain on my 14 year old during sports? She is a pitcher and often complains of knee pain while she is pitching.

BEST ANSWER: Great question! Our Relieve Me, True Blue, and First Aid blends are very similar in what they are intended to do, however they do have different ingredients. Because everyone reacts to oils differently we offer the two blends so that in case of one not giving the desired effect the other may be more beneficial. This is determined by each individual's body chemistry. I would suggest reading the product descriptions of each oil and seeing which one sounds as though it would more apply to you.

When it is put in a roller bottle and used, will it turn your clothing blue also?

BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, the Blue Tansy oil can indeed stain. However, since it is the 4th ingredient in the blend, it's not as strong. If applying topically, I would strongly suggest diluting it with a carrier oil, it should prevent it from staining.
