Attention Assist: Vetiver, Frankincense, Lavender, and Cedarwood in a base of 66% Fractionated Coconut Oil

Tips:

  • Add 3 drops of Bergamot or Grapefruit to 5 drops of Attention Assist to help soften the aroma and enhance the oils' properties.
  • Dilute and apply topically to the bottom of the feet, the back of the neck, temples or forehead to boost mental focus. Reapply several times a day as needed.

Attention Assist Mist Spray

  • 35 drops Attention Assist
  • 40 drops Pink Grapefruit
  • 1 teaspoon FCO (Fractionated Coconut Oil)
  • 4 ounces Distilled Water

Add all ingredients to a 4-ounce fine mist spray bottle. Shake well before every use. Liberally spritz around the room as often as needed. You can refill the water 2-3 times before needing to refill the oil.

Attention Assist Massage Cream

  • 30 drops Attention Assist
  • 20 drops Bergamot FCF
  • 1 teaspoon FCO (Fractionated Coconut Oil)
  • 1 cup shea butter

Melt the shea butter and FCO in a small saucepan over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and add the essential oils. Mix to combine. Pour the mixture into a container and allow to cool completely before closing the lid. Massage the cream into the back and chest as needed.

Dilute with a carrier oil before applying topically. Check here for dilution rates. Safe to use topically with children 2 years of age and older. Dilute to a .5-2% dilution rate for topical application on children.

The aroma is heavenly.
This is one of my favorite blends. The fragrance is soooo amazing. I love the vetiver fragrance. I didn't realize that Vetiver reminded me of the Cardamom spice. I wear behind my ears like a perfume.

What is the difference between Brainstorm and Attention Assist?
A shopper on Sep 26, 2017
Attention Assist
Attention Assist
Brainstorm
Brainstorm
BEST ANSWER: Great question! While both have similar therapeutic properties, they are part of different collections. Brainstorm is part of our energy collection, while Attention Assist is part of our Mood collection. Brainstorm has a more floral scent, while Attention Assist has a more strong woodsy smell.
As it is listed with a base of 66% FCO, do i still need to dilute this or can i use it straight from the bottle?
Michelle F on Sep 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Most blends that contain FCO are not quite prepped for adult topical application. We would recommend to dilute further to a 2%-5% dilution rate for an adult. You can treat the blend as if it were a single essential oil when diluting. We suggest following our dilution chart on the website:

Will the attention assist be safe to use on my 6 year old son?
Kari H on Oct 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it is as long as it's properly diluted. Here's a handy dilution chart: https://www.rockymountainoils.com/dilution-rate/

Is this, and other blends, used as is, since they are in a base of Coconut Oil, or do I need to dilute them more with a carrier oil?

BEST ANSWER: Hello! We do recommend still diluting it with carrier oil to get to a 98% dilution rate. That equals about 1-3 drops of the blend or essential oil for every 1/2 teaspoon of carrier oil.

Thanks!

A shopper on Jun 30, 2017

Can I add a drop of another eo once I dilute it with Jojoba? Maybe a drop of lemongrass?
D K on Mar 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you are more than welcome to add other essential oils to the blends. We just recommend following our dilution rate chart by following 3-7 drops essential oil for every 1 teaspoon of carrier oil.

What's the difference between Attention Assist and Focusing blends? Thanks
Adrienne L on Nov 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Because everyone reacts to oils differently we offer the two blends so that in case of one not giving the desired effect the other may be more beneficial. This is determined by each individuals body chemistry. I would suggest reading the product descriptions of each oil and seeing which one sounds as though it would more apply to you. You can also see the list of ingredients for each blend on the product page.

Thanks-

If I wanted to send this to my child in college, what could she use it with? She doesn't have a diffuser but I have the roll-on bottles I could mix wirh carrier oil...my question is where could she put that topically? Thank you so much.
Montanablu on Oct 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: One of the objectives of the use of essential oils is for the therapeutic properties of the oils to be absorbed into the bloodstream. To best receive these therapeutic benefits, diffusion and topical application are advised. The most common areas for topical application include rubbing the diluted oil on the back of the neck, behind the ear, on the wrist, the bottom of the feet or on the targeted area.

Thanks!

Why do some of the oils contain an FCO?
Sheri G on Dec 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for question! We dilute about half of our blends with FCO because they have luxury oils in them. This helps to keep the price affordable for our customers. We're now offering a 5 ml neat version for each of our 12 most popular 15 ml blends that are in a base of Fractionated Coconut Oil (FCO). The term "neat" means undiluted. Even though they are a little pricier, having a neat version of our blends will make it easier to dilute them correctly as well as diffuse with no worries. It also gives customers with coconut allergies a chance to the use our top blends.

Thanks!

We are traveling overseas, and wonder if this might help with jet lag? Thanks!
Cathi A on Dec 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Because each person possesses a unique body chemistry, people can react differently to certain oils. Attention assist can help but if you need energy any citrus blend can help.

What is the difference between the 15ml bottle and the 5ml Neat of Attention Assist?
Stephanie C on Oct 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: A neat Blend is just essential oils mixed together, with no carrier oil added. For example, Attention Assist originally has 66% Fractionated coconut oil in it. The 5 ml neat option does not contain Fractionated coconut oil.

Thanks-
RMO Team
I see that this blend is marked as being able to diffuse, but I've heard that blends with a carrier oil (such as FCO) shouldn't be used in an ultrasonic diffuser because it can ruin the diffuser. Is that the case with this blend?
A shopper on Oct 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Great question! Our FCO is extremely thin and therefore perfectly safe if contained in a blend to use in a diffuser.

Thanks!

-RMO Team
What is the dilution ratio for this oil for topical use? Should I use Jojoba or Fracionated coconut oil for dilution?
Aerin V on Jun 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The type of carrier oil to use is all up to the customer. We do recommend to dilute to a 2-5% dilution rate for an adult. This is using 3-7 drops of the essential oil per 1 tsp of carrier oil.

Can I diffuse this oil since it has the coconut oil in it?
Ruth N on Oct 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Great question! Yes, this can be used in a diffuser. We have found that FCO is thin enough to be diffused safely. However, if you are concerned about damaging your diffuser we would suggest reaching out to the diffuser manufacturer for further advice.

I am looking for the neat version of this oil and not finding it on your site. Did you stop making the neat version?
Jenny S on Jul 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, unfortunately, Attention Assist Neat has been discontinued. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

This has fractionated carrier oil so is it okay to use in a glass nebulizer diffuser?
Cynthia W. H on Oct 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hello!

Attention is safe to diffuse on any diffuser. However, because it does contain FCO, the diffuser must be cleaned regularly.

Thanks!

What is the dilution amount for a 5 year old? Or, can I put it on him without diluting?
Erin F on Jun 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We suggest always diluting when using an oil topically, especially for children. Our recommendation is a 1% dilution for children over the age of 2. This would equal one drop of essential oil to 1 tsp (or 5ml) carrier oil. See our entire dilution chart here: https://www.rockymountainoils.com/dilution-rate/
Which type of frankincense is in this blend?
Dawn T on Jun 8, 2017
