Essential Oil Blend
Availability: In Stock

Hair Support Essential Oil Blend has a strong, menthol-like, earthy, herbal aroma. The oil combines Rosemary, Ylang Ylang, Ravintsara, Cedarwood, Holy Basil, and Sage.

Hair Support Essential Oil Blend is part of the Rocky Mountain Oils Skin Care collection. Try using Hair Support in a scalp massage to help promote good circulation, or add to your shampoo. The blend may help support and strengthen hair while improving the appearance of all hair types—including normal, oily, and dry.

Each of Rocky Mountain Oils' premium essential oil blends is composed of a unique blend of essential oil elements.

Hair Support: Rosemary, Ylang Ylang, Ravintsara, Cedarwood, Holy Basil, and Sage
Hair Support Herbal Shampoo
  • 8 ounces Distilled Water
  • 1 ounce Thyme and Bay Leaf (herbs)
  • 3 ounces Liquid Castile Soap
  • 1/4 teaspoon jojoba oil
  • 25 drops of Hair Support

Bring water to a boil. Add the herbs, cover, and let simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes. Strain and cool. Slowly add the castile soap to tea, then mix in the jojoba and essential oils. Store in a shampoo container. Shake well before every use.

Simple Dandruff Tonic
  • 15 drops Hair Support
  • 3 teaspoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 1/4 cup Distilled Water

Mix all ingredients together in a dark colored glass bottle and keep sealed tightly. Shake well before every use. Pour a little tonic into the palm of your hand and massage into the scalp and through the hair. Regular use (several times a week) will help reduce over-secretion of sebum, and thus the need to shampoo quite so often.

Great as a styling agent!
I put half grape seed and half jojoba oil in a 1 oz bottle then added 20 drops of the hair support blend. After my shower, I use about 5 drops of the oil blend and rub it my palms then work it all throughout my hair and scalp. Only been using it about a week so don’t know if it will promote hair growth or not (which is why I originally purchased it.) Having said that, I really like how it makes my hair look. It gives my hair some body and I’ll continue using it for the styling benefits.

Great! I use two drops in my shampoo, and one drop in my conditioner if I’ve done something that could dry my hair out. If you use too much, it’ll make your hair have a really weird texture, but otherwise its great! I’ve already seen growth and hair strength after two weeks.

I swim every other day and I put this in my hair after I shower. Everyone has been saying my hair looks amazing so it must be doing something. BTW I only use about a drop or two and run my hands through my hair.

So far so good!
I have thin hair to begin with, so I don't expect miracles when I use any product. However, after the first use my hair was noticeably softer. I am currently using it about every 3 days- 2 drops mixed with my shampoo. My hair feels amazing, it does not feel at all oily/greasy, and it is such an easy step. I wasn't losing a lot of hair to begin with, so I can't say I am losing any less. Overall, I will definitely continue to purchase this and am very happy with the results so far.

Awesome oil
I have used this oil twice now and used coconut oil with it. A few drops of Hair Support in about 1 teaspoon of melted coconut oil. It makes my hair thick and looks so healthy. I totally recommend this oil.

I have been using this for about a month and while I am seeing more hair growth I am also seeing more dandruff. Is this normal when you first start using it?
Samantha W on Apr 20, 2018

Everyone reacts differently to the oils and it depends on your skin. We have not received enough feedback in regards to dandruff, however, we would suggest applying the essential oil with conditioner or other moisturizers that will help prevent the dryness of the scalp.
