In a continuing effort to help people find the highest quality oils at affordable prices, we have compiled this list of oils that we feel are comparable to YL's selection. While many have similar oils in them, some are comparable because they have similar uses. Please let us know how you like them and if there is anything we can help you with.

* All names in the middle column are sold by Young Living Essential Oils™ (Lehi, UT), and has no relation with Rocky Mountain Oils LLC. (Young Living®, PanAway®, Peace and Calming®, Thieves®, and Valor® are Registered trade marks by Young Living Essential Oils.)

The "stars" pop-up was displaying right over what I was trying to read. I attempted to move it to the side and inadvertently registered a 1 or 2 star vote. Actually,if I meant to vote, I would have given it 4 or 5 stars

I just spent nearly $400 on the Young Living site on their cleansing and detox supplements and oils. Anything comparable to JuvaCleanse at Rockie Mountain? Very expensive at Young Living!

We have used YL for many years, just happened to see your statement about comparing your Rocky Mountain to Young Living. How do you compare? Better price? As good or better quality?

Hello, I love EOs and have found them very useful. Young Livings oils are kinda pricy though... I have found great results from a company called Amrita Aromatherapy! If you are looking for awesome stuff check them out. Happy hunting...

Have used Young Living Essential Oils, know how they are grown and distilled and believe in Gary's Purpose, Passion and Mission, know who the man is and what he is giving to us in this time of need when we all must take responsibility for our own health. Pricey, yes, but are you aware what it takes to bring these pure oils to us? Do you have the same passion?

Nothing compares to Young Living. Instead of comparing prices why not compare the quality? Young Living Oils are Therapeutic Grade. Medical doctors wanted to do a hysterectomy on my friend due to Cervical Cancer. My friend no longer has Cervical Cancer after using Young Living's products. Now my friend has 2 more kids. Put a price tag on that!

I think poorly of companies that compare their products with other companies. It makes it seem like the company is desperate for customers.

I've been using oils for some time now and have two quick thoughts- 1- what works for one person doesn't ALWAYS work for another. 2- there are HUGE differences in quality, purity, and efficacy from one company to another. Just because it is cheaper doesn't mean it is better... you can find a car for $500, but would that be your preferred vehicle? I buy all my oils locally- the prices are a bit higher than some 'internet stores' but they come with a satisfaction guarantee and are a higher grade. drop me a note if you want to buy where I buy... I think that Rocky Mountain was explaining that they can offer the same quality of product as YL at a lesser price because they are not a Multi-level-marketing company. They dont have the in-betweens to pay. Thats all. I thinks some people would find this info extremely useful when searching their site and to make a desicion with a company to buy from. I know I did. Some of us dont want to have to deal with a company that is a MLM because no matter what they say, you always feel some pressure if you want to get involved with the local YL groups and trainings. Now these are great and I wish that that Rocky Mountain would train in Raindrop and Vita-flex but I dont want to be pressured into buying more products, and bringing guests, etc to these events. Most of all I dont want to have to pay the extra money.

I happen to know that Gary Young was caught selling adulterated (not pure) Essential Oils and has been busted in the Lie. Why do you think so many of his founding members have jumped ship to start other companies like DoTERRA and Be Young Essential Oils? Including his own Brother and many others. Young Living is a FRAUD!

My question to Mike Stackwell and anyone else who want to throw their accusations out toward Gary Young as being a "fraud".... where is your proof? And who are you? What have you ever done to advance the safety and superiority of essential oils? What's your background? Is it that you are all just trying to make a quick "buck" yourself and because you can't really compete with Gary Young or Young Living, you can only attempt to defraud the man to make yourselves look better. Cheap attempt. Those who do their homework and actually go to Young Living and meet the man have a different story to tell. So sad that for the almighty dollar men can stoop so low! You get what you pay for and beware if you buy an essential oil that claims to be "as good as or better" than Young Living. Why are they comparing to Young Living at all? Because they ARE superior! Wake up people!

Approx. 7 (+/-) yrs ago I attended a seminar put on by Young Living for people that were new to essential oils. Gary Young was the main speaker. His presentation was way over the top, totally useless for new comers. In conversation, one on one, many of us found him very arrogant, treating our questions with total disdain. We added up the years that he claimed to have spent in learning and working with improving the oils, and the man would have had to be near 110 yrs old at that time. The icing on the cake came the final day when he made 300+ people wait 45 minutes for him to walk up on stage and announce "I don't feel like being here", walk back off and proceed with a heated discussion with the organizers for another 30 minutes before coming back up to finish the seminar. In my opinion the man is a waste of skin.

After reading about Donald Gary Young, CEO of YL, I don't want anything to do with him or his company. I was saddened to read he killed his own daughter by drowning her at birth. Now in Equador he it feeding young children, making sure that their needs a met, what a hipacrate. This man is a FRAUD, he has no certifications for any of his self appointed titles. Just a modern day hustler making a quick buck and cheatening the Essential Oil industry. His Doctors on his staff have had the licences removed for improper behavior. Young is being sued now by a Kansas City woman who received intervenous Vitamin C to treat her Cancer and the large dose caused renal failure and she almost died. It is time that the Truth be heard, Yound is a F R A U D!!!!

After reading all of the above comments I have to wonder...for those of you who truely believe that Young Living is so superior in quality to justify prices that double, triple and quadruple most other brands, I have to ask the question WHY? Not one person has ever stated clearly HOW YL is superior. What is it that is soooo different between them? Other, MUCH cheaper oils are also 100% pure therapeutic grade organic oils with satisfaction guarantees so why the price difference? Please someone enlighten me????

I laughed when I read many of these comments. Gary a FRAUD?? Think again. "He who is without sin, cast the first stone . . ." I have personally met this man and his wife and they are wonderful people, who are giving it their all to help others. You who question the quality of YL oils, have you visited some of their farms. I have and I know the work that goes into obtaining quality. I have never tried Rocky Mountain oils, and I'm completely satisfied with YL oils. Go to www.oil-testimonials.com/7719 to read my testimony. Further more, I have never seen Gary try to compare his oils to any other . . . he doesn't need to.

The chart Rocky Mountain offers is purely for cross reference for several people who have requested this information. As a licensed professional/retailer, I ALWAYS ask distributors how their product compares to what I prefer to offer to my clients. Then I decide if it is a product to sample prior to making the investment. Never once have I felt this company make claims to be superior to any other company. I continually research information to provide my clients the best products & services available. I appreciate that Rocky Mountain educates themselves with products offered by other companies.

Would one of the pro YL commenters please tell me which of the YL oils are organic and where on their site it is stated? I can't find it and as far as I'm concerned "earth kosher" certified doesnt mean much for non-meat products and it certainly doesn't mean it is organic. For the record, I've been buying YL oils for over a year , but am considering switching because I want organic oils and I'm disturbed by the lack of information on the bottles, not even the plant species scientific name.

I want to know where you get your plants and herbs for your oils? No where on the site does it say where you get your herbs and plants from. What part of the plant do you use?
