Ways to use: Getting Started
You will need to blend with a carrier oil before using topically. A general guideline is 4-8 drops in 2 teaspoons of carrier oil for adult topical use. Once you have tried it, you will know if you need to blend more or less. A general guideline for blend rates for children can be found here: http://www.rockymountainoils.com/dilution-rates-children. Always test on a nickel sized portion of skin on your foot first. Make sure your skin can handle the oil/blend before using.
To soothe pain of sprains or strain, make a cold compress by adding 2 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil and 2 drops of RMO Chamomile Essential Oil to a bowl of ice-cold water. Dip a soft absorbent cloth into the bowl and then press on the afflicted area.
For a soothing hand bath, add 1 drop of Peppermint Essential Oil, 4 drops of Lavender Essential Oil, and 1 teaspoon of FCO to a bowl of warm water. Immerse hands for 5 minutes.
Add a couple of drops to your dishwasher to help purify and disinfect.
