I use it at night before I go to bed, just a drop or two on the soles of my feet, to help me relax and unwind. It's also a wonderful treatment for insect bites or small cuts, removing the itch or sting within seconds. admeadows (Sunday, 28 June 2009) Rating: This lavender oil is a must have for any home. It seems to heal everything and has a beautiful, clean scent. I use it on sunburn to take the burn right out. Applied neat (just a little goes a long way), you can actually see the burn/redness lessening! Wow! Also, I use it to heal boils, thrush, and it takes the pain and itch from insect bites right away! When my 3 year old gets a boo boo or mosquito bite, she says, "Mommy, I need some of your oil on me!" She wouldn't let me use any other medicines on her.
