It was also made into a tea for colds, coughs, and digestive issues.

    Blends well with: Basil, Cedarwood, Clove Bud, Lavender, Oregano, Peppermint, Spearmint, Pine Needles, Pine, Rosemary, Sandalwood, Fir Needle, Lemon, Cinnamon Bark, Marjoram, Orange, Tangerine, Helichrysum italicum, and all Eucalyptus oils.


    Ways to use: You will need to blend with a carrier oil before using topically. A general guideline is 4-8 drops in ½ teaspoon of carrier oil for adult topical use. Once you have tried it, you will know if you need to blend more or less. A general guideline for blend rates for children can be found here:

    Inhale Rocky Mountain Oils' Ravintsara aroma as deeply as you can 2-3 times a day to help strengthen lungs during cold and flu season.

    Massage a drop or two into your chest during respiratory infections.

    Take a bath with a drop or two to ease nervous exhaustion.

    For genital herpes, blend Rocky Mountain Oils' Ravintsara with Helichrysum italicum in a base of St. John's Wort oil.

    For Shingles, layer on your rash a few drops each of Ravintsara, Nerve Repair, and then Gentle Healer 2-4 times a day.


    Chronic Viral Illness Support

              • 2 drops Helichrysum italicum
              • 3 drops Peppermint
              • 4 drops Ravintsara
              • 4 drops Lemon
              • 1 tablespoon carrier oil

    Gently massage formula into body as needed, pay particular attention to chest and neck area.  


    Laryngitis Treatment

              • 2 drops Roman Chamomile
              • 3 drops Lavender
              • 2 drops Ravintsara
              • 2 drops Spearmint

    Diffuse or use in a vaporizer. Breathe in the aroma as deeply as possible.
