Product Description

Sweeten your home and boost your immunity with Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil. With a rich, spicy aroma that’s slightly sweet, Cinnamon Bark oil has an irresistible scent that calls to mind freshly baked cinnamon rolls or sugar-spice cookies. It’s warming, uplifting, and soothing.

But Cinnamon Bark essential oil offers more than its pleasing scent. It’s a rich source of healing antioxidant compounds, including cinnamaldehyde, a bioactive compound that gives Cinnamon Bark its distinct aroma and infuses it with powerful anti-inflammatory properties.

Cinnamon Bark essential oil uses include pain relief, reducing swelling, and improving blood flow. When used topically with a carrier oil, it creates a gentle warming sensation that melts away tension and stiffness. Cinnamon Bark oil also helps boost immunity, treat digestive issues, purify the air, sanitize surfaces, and more.

Many people also use Cinnamon essential oil for skin, hair, and nails. Apply this essential oil with a carrier oil promotes cellular regeneration and boosts collagen production while using it on the scalp also stimulates new hair growth. Try adding a few drops of Cinnamon Bark essential oil to your moisturizer, shampoo, or conditioner to reduce redness, boost hydration, and restore your skin and hair’s natural protective barriers.

Faqs

Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil FAQ

  • Can you cook with Cinnamon Bark essential oil?

No. Cinnamon Bark essential oil is not a cooking oil. It is for external use only and should not be ingested. If using topically, avoid accidental contact with the lips and mouth. Although Rocky Mountain Oils uses safe, premium quality ingredients, essential oils are highly concentrated and are not recommended for ingestion. To add the flavor of cinnamon to your recipes, we recommend spiced cinnamon or freshly ground cinnamon sticks.

  • What is the difference between Cinnamon Bark essential oil and Cinnamon Leaf essential oil?

Cinnamon Bark and Cinnamon Leaf are made from different parts of the cinnamon tree: the bark and leaves, respectively. As a result, they have slightly different chemical compositions and different aromas. Cinnamon Bark essential oil has a stronger, deeper aroma and a higher concentration of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds, while Cinnamon Leaf oil is softer, lighter, more floral, and less analgesic.

  • Can I use Cinnamon essential oil for skin?

Yes, one of the most popular Cinnamon essential oil uses is skincare. As an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial oil, Cinnamon helps treat acne, eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis. It also helps with hyperpigmentation, discoloration, and age spots. However, cinnamon is a “hot” oil and may cause irritation in sensitive individuals. Always patch test prior to extensive use and allow your skin to adjust to the oil before using it daily. Start by using Cinnamon Bark essential oil 1-3 times per week and gradually increase usage as your skin adapts.

  • Does Cinnamon essential oil boost immunity?

Yes! One of the most popular uses of Cinnamon essential oil is boosting the immune system during cold and flu season, or any time of year when you or your family may be exposed to illness. Use Cinnamon Bark oil at the first signs of illness to help strengthen your body’s natural defenses, while inhaling the spicy-sweet aroma to feel calm and relaxed.

  • What other essential oil blends with cinnamon?

There are many essential oils that complement the warm, spicy aroma of cinnamon. Some popular cinnamon blends include Clove Oil, Orange Oil, Lemon Oil, Frankincense Serrata, Bergamot Oil, and Ginger Root Oil.
