I would buy this again
First time ever using FCO, and I really think this company’s is great! There’s no “off” smell and it is perfectly liquidy and not at all greasey! Rubs in just fine. (I use it in my essential oil rollers)

FCO Fractionted Coconut Oil
Loved it ... definitely would recommend this product. It goes into the skin immediately and love the larger bottle with the pump. You can pump oil into the smaller roll-on and regular bottle when making up potions. <3

I use this product and mix it with a brainstorm as it was suggested on the website and my son says it helps him relax and stay focused in school until lunch time. And since I can't put it on him because I am not present at school, he uses the focus roll on.

Does it smell like coconut? Sadly, my family and I don't like coconut smell and taste.
BEST ANSWER: Fractionated Coconut Oil actually does not have a scent at all. This is the reason that we do commonly use it in our blends as it does not interfere with the natural aroma of essential oils.

What is the preferred method for preparing dilutions, in advance or as needed? Does the dilution lose its essential oil potency or evaporate if made in advance in a small jar?
BEST ANSWER: For adult topical application, the recommended starting ratio is 1/2 tsp of carrier oil for every 1-3 drops of essential oil. For more dilution rate click here: https://www.rockymountainoils.com/dilution-rate/
The dilution of the blends with the carrier oil does not hinder the therapeutic value of the single essential oils in the blend.

Am I able to use this coconut oil in capsules for consumption?
BEST ANSWER: Our products are 100% pure and of the quality that they can be ingested, however we do not provide any ingestion guidance. If you do choose to ingest the FCO or any of the essential oils, we recommend consulting an aromatherapist for guidance.

What exactly is a carrier oil? I am using turmeric oil mixed with pepper oil internally, mixed in a very small amount of water. Is that not sufficient for premium absorption, or should I be using a carrier oil, and how?
BEST ANSWER: Hello!
Topical application of an essential oil is done by adding essential oils to a carrier oil and spreading them on the skin. A carrier oil is any nut, seed, or vegetable oil. For adult topical application, the recommended dilution rate is 2-5% which is 3-7 drops of essential oil for every 1 teaspoon of carrier oil.

I'm new to RMO and still figuring out how to best utilized the oils. I plan to diffuse, but am also interested in topical applications. I'd like to mix a couple of drops of EO with Fractionated Coconut Oil for topical application, however can you explain how to measure the Fractionated Coconut Oil (ie. 2 tspns) to then pour into a 5ml or 15ml bottle and mix with the drops of EO?
BEST ANSWER: Great question! There are many diffent ways you can measure the FCO. You can use measuring cups, a pipette. or you could eyeball it in the bottle.
