Jasmine Essential Oil (Jasminum grandiflorum) is also commonly known as Queen of the Night, Spanish Jasmine, and Royal Jasmine. Jasmine Essential Oil has a strong rich, floral, and tea-like aroma presenting a middle fragrance note.

It’s Quality
This was my first purchase with Rocky Mountain Oils. (Kind of risky to be purchasing a more expensive oil before vetting with smaller purchases first but I was so incredibly pleased with both the oil and the company.) This oil doesn’t smell like a “sweet” jasmine fragrance and unfortunately there are so many fragrances out there with fake adjustments to the smell of jasmine that one could easily become accustomed to. But what I received seemed to be confidently 100% authentic jasmine smell and jasmine oil. I grew up as a kid playing with a teeny bottle of very expensive and pure jasmine perfume and the scent of this oil takes me back to that smell right away. I love this oil so much. I am so pleased with what I received. I am very pleased by the manner I received it- shipping process was non problematic and reasonable in time especially considering the shipping is free. So far- love this oil, love this company. Looking forward to continuing with Rocky Mountain Oils.

In the bottle, the jasmine smelled a little like an old lady, which was not incredibly appealing, but diffused it was light and relaxing. I diffused it with about 5 drops of bergamot & frankincense, 2 drops of rosewood, and a drop of lavender to help calm down my tantruming 4yr old. She fell asleep quickly and easily despite her earlier stress.

What is the shelf life of jasmine oil? I have had mine for a while but not sure when they go bad
A shopper on Jan 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: If kept in a cool (room temperature or cooler), dark place with the cap tightly sealed, all oils should maintain their therapeutic potency for about 3-5 years. However, citrus oils have a shorter time frame of 1-3 years. Some oils, such as Patchouli, Vetiver and Blue Tansy actually increase in potency.

What solvent is used for extraction?
A shopper on Sep 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Great question! The solvent used for the extraction of Jasmine is Ethanol.

Is there a special dilution rate for jasmine?
A shopper on Nov 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Anytime you are trying an oil for the first time we do recommend diluting the oil further.
I would suggest starting with 1/2 teaspoon carrier oil for 1-3 drops of the blend. Once you have tried this you can increase or decrease as needed.
