Pogostemon cablin | Patchouli Essential Oil
Availability: In Stock
$17.50

Patchouli Essential Oil (Pogostemon cablin) is also commonly known as Patchouly. Patchouli Essential Oil has a medium-strength rich, herbaceous, earthy-sweet aroma presenting a base fragrance note.

We included Patchouli Essential Oil to the Rocky Mountain Oils Mood, Skin Care, and Sleep collections. Patchouli is a very viscous essential oil that naturally darkens in color as it ages.

Use Patchouli in your skincare routine, or add to body butters and moisturizers to enhance hydration. Patchouli also works well as a natural deodorant.

Often blended into perfumes, the earthy scent is deeply relaxing. Breathe in the rich, earthy scent to enhance meditation or before bedtime.

Earthy goddess
I was diffusing in this in my home for a couple hours and left to go meet up with some friends. As one friend came in for a hug, she said "man, you smell like an earthy goddess! What are you wearing? You smell great!"
Me-"patchouli, girl."

Super calming
This is a different scent of patchouli than I have smelled before probably because it is raw, organic, and amazing. On a whim I applied a drop with a little coconut oil on my stomach before bed. Within 15 minutes I felt so extremely calm it was shocking- but I was almost too calm to feel shocked and then I realized it was the patchouli oil. When I apply this to our feet and heart area before bed, we sleep deeply!

Grounding with Patchouli
I love Patchouli, always have and now I know a new way to use it. I learned this in my yoga class. Put patchouli on the bottom of your feet and follow with peppermint oil, it still smells great and will ground you. Making it easier to keep my head in the game.

We love this Patchouli. It smells amazing, and a very small amount goes a long way. My husband loves the smell and uses it as a cologne. I used it with Lavender in my homemade deodorant.

New Patchouli is a WINNER!
The old patchouli was good, not great. It was lacking the familiar undertones I was used to when smelling patchouli. The new patchouli is spot-on and smells authentic and I'm very happy with it.

Not what I expected
I remember patchouli as this horrible scent my hippie wanna-be roommate in college used. Hated it. Much too strong. Not sure how this differs in make-up, but it must. I REALLY LIKE the smell of Rocky Mountain's patchouli. Very centering. Works well to keep us calm and grounded as we wind down in the evening.

I love this RMO Patchouli
Yes, I was a teenager during the mid-70's, and I knew somewhat of Patchouli then, so I ordered it just to see if I remembered it and what emotions and feelings it would evoke. I LOVE this RMO Patchouli !! It has a softer fragrance and it not overpowering nor offensive. i cannot stop putting a drop of it directly on my wrists. My SigOther can always smell it, even when I cannot? I am not sure it if has assimilated and absorbed into my bod somehow, but the smell gives me a peaceful feeling. I really like this Patchouli batch that I have received! It depends what you are looking for in it, if you will iike it, or not. and since It is not that expensive but I love it !! I have a feeling this will be a constant in my essential oil collection.

The best patchouli oil
I didn't know that patchouli could smell this good- because I've only had poor-quality patchouli oils in the past. Not anymore! This stuff is great.

Do you have a digestible version of patchouli extract?
A shopper on Apr 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We do not. Essential oils are very potent and can be dangerous if not used correctly. We do not give recommendations for ingestion as the body can safely absorb essential oils by topical application or diffusion. All of our oils are 100% pure, natural, and authentic.

If you do choose to ingest the oils, we suggest consulting an Aromatherapist or trusted health professional for guidance. As a company we cannot provide dosing suggestions or directions on how to ingest if you choose to do so.
