Q&A

Can I use vetiver oil in a waterless diffuser?
Hi Ginger! Yes, you can use vetiver oil in a waterless diffuser, but there are a couple of things to keep in mind. Vetiver essential oil is very thick and viscous, so it may diffuse more slowly than lighter oils. In some waterless diffusers, thicker oils can occasionally clog or struggle to travel through the diffuser tube. Tips for better performance: Let the bottle sit in warm water for a few minutes to thin the oil slightly before diffusing. Try blending vetiver with a thinner oil like lavender, lemon, or cedarwood to help it diffuse more easily. Make sure to clean the diffuser regularly to prevent buildup from thicker oils. So yes—it’s safe to use, just be aware that its thicker consistency may require a little extra care. 🌿
