Price is in the quality
Take note: There is a definitive difference between "Essential" oils and "Fragrance" oils. And the price will show it.
I bought my girlfriend the Rose "Essential" oil for $200 for a measly 5 ml bottle for our anniversary. However, I wasn't sure WHY the Rocky Mountain "Essential" oil was OUTRAGEOUSLY more expensive than a Rose "Fragrance" oil I also bought from another company for $7 for a 15 ml bottle.
I decided that I would buy both and tell my girlfriend to sample each one, the "Essential" oil and the "Fragrance" oil, and tell me which one she thought was the more expensive one.
Hands down she decided the "Essential" oil was the pricey one. I asked her why she thought that and she explained, "The Essential oil smells like I just buried my face in a pillow stuffed with freshly plucked rose petals".
She went on to say that the "Fragrance" oil smelled like roses but had hints of perfume-like chemicals that clearly made the "Essential" oil stand out as the winner.

Love it
So excited to finally able to buy it as it was on sale, shipping is fast. I love its sweet smell, I add few drops on my home made facial moisturizer., it felt so smooth in my skin. I also use it as a perfume, put 5 drops in 15 drops of FCT carrier oil, smell ok to me but my husband and friends say they dont smell it not sure if I need to put more drops, too expensive though to put more. Overall very satisfied.

A wonderful discovery!
I treat the rose essential oil like gold. I use it sparingly, but I have noticed a difference in my skin tone. My daughter is getting one for Christmas.

Why is this 5ml bottle almost $200?
A shopper on Jul 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Our Rose oil is known as Rose Otto. It is very difficult to find a pure source of this variety. When this is distilled it requires thousands of pounds of rose petals to make a batch of oil. This makes Rose well known as an expensive oil.

Our Rose oil is not diluted at all (which would allow for a lower price point), but we do offer it diluted as a "Blend of Rose" option, so that customers may purchase the oil at a more affordable price.

How many drops would i need to see benefits in an eye oil serum combination?
Sonia N on Feb 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Anytime you are trying an oil for the first time we do recommend diluting the oil further.
I would suggest starting with 1/2 teaspoon carrier oil for 1-3 drops of the blend. Once you have tried this you can increase or decrease as needed.

Thanks-

Are the roses used to make this organic?
A shopper on Feb 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Rose is not certified organic. However, all of our essential oils are 100% pure, natural, therapeutic and organically grown. They are GMO-Free, GC/MS and Pesticide tested. However, until now, we have not had government USDA Certified Organic oils. Certifying essential oils as organic is a very long, expensive and extensive process.

We have heard our customers requests to bring some USDA Organic oils into our product line and we are starting with 6 (Tea Tree, Peppermint, Orange, Lemon, Lavender, and Frankincense).

how many drops of rose eo should I put in my diffuser?
A shopper on Feb 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: There is a general guideline for diffusion. We suggest starting with 5-10 drops of your choice of Essential Oil per 100 ml's (about a half cup) of water. From here customers will know whether they need to add more or use less drops. Feel free to add more as desired.

Thanks!

Where do you source the roses/rose oil from? Is it made with indigenous roses from Turkey or Iran?
A shopper on Feb 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Our Rosa x damascena (Rose Otto) is sourced from Bulgaria. Customers can see this on the bottle label, GC/MS test results as well as in the "Facts" tab.

Thanks,

Can this rose otto be taken internally such as a drop diluted in water? of so, what would the benefits be? Thanks!
A shopper on Dec 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Rocky Mountain Oils feels that essential oils are very potent and can be dangerous if not used correctly. All of our oils are 100% pure, natural, and authentic. They are of the quality to ingest. However, we cannot provide dosing suggestions or directions on how to ingest if you choose to do so. If you do choose to ingest the oils, we suggest consulting an Aromatherapist or trusted health professional for guidance.
