Rose oil crystalize at low temperature
I love this oil. Although at the beginning I couldn't get the drops out and was surprised to see there was not much liquid in the bottle at all, consider the price I paid... but I then read that rose oil will crystalize at the temperature below 18 degree and it does return to liquid form when it's in a warmer place :D I love the scent, it's wonderful.

Excellent quality, beautiful scent
Amazing quality! To get a sense of the product when it arrived, I added a few drops to some dried rose petals from my garden that needed a refresh on scent. Those few drops were almost too much. The scent wafting off the petals is strong enough to detect when sitting on a couch a few feet away, even with the lid of the jar they’re in cracked open only just a bit.

Rose oil
A beautiful, intense oil. I use a drop in the morning in my moisturizer, as my skin is dry and sensitive. It feels wonderful and my skin is responding well. I have to get a separate dropper as the oil won't come out of the top provided with the bottle.

Why is this 5ml bottle almost $200?
A shopper on Jul 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Our Rose oil is known as Rose Otto. It is very difficult to find a pure source of this variety. When this is distilled it requires thousands of pounds of rose petals to make a batch of oil. This makes Rose well known as an expensive oil.

Our Rose oil is not diluted at all (which would allow for a lower price point), but we do offer it diluted as a "Blend of Rose" option, so that customers may purchase the oil at a more affordable price.
Roughly how many drops in a 5ml bottle?
Eunice B on Jun 26, 2018

There are about 80-90 drops per 5ml bottle.

Are the roses used to make this organic?
A shopper on Feb 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Rose is not certified organic. However, all of our essential oils are 100% pure, natural, therapeutic and organically grown. They are GMO-Free, GC/MS and Pesticide tested. However, until now, we have not had government USDA Certified Organic oils. Certifying essential oils as organic is a very long, expensive and extensive process.

We have heard our customers requests to bring some USDA Organic oils into our product line and we are starting with 6 (Tea Tree, Peppermint, Orange, Lemon, Lavender, and Frankincense).

Where do you source the roses/rose oil from? Is it made with indigenous roses from Turkey or Iran?
A shopper on Feb 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Our Rosa x damascena (Rose Otto) is sourced from Bulgaria. Customers can see this on the bottle label, GC/MS test results as well as in the "Facts" tab.

Can this rose otto be taken internally such as a drop diluted in water? of so, what would the benefits be? Thanks!
A shopper on Dec 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Rocky Mountain Oils feels that essential oils are very potent and can be dangerous if not used correctly. All of our oils are 100% pure, natural, and authentic. They are of the quality to ingest. However, we cannot provide dosing suggestions or directions on how to ingest if you choose to do so. If you do choose to ingest the oils, we suggest consulting an Aromatherapist or trusted health professional for guidance.

how many drops of rose eo should I put in my diffuser?
A shopper on Feb 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: There is a general guideline for diffusion. We suggest starting with 5-10 drops of your choice of Essential Oil per 100 ml's (about a half cup) of water. From here customers will know whether they need to add more or use less drops. Feel free to add more as desired.

How many drops would i need to see benefits in an eye oil serum combination?
Sonia N on Feb 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Anytime you are trying an oil for the first time we do recommend diluting the oil further.
I would suggest starting with 1/2 teaspoon carrier oil for 1-3 drops of the blend. Once you have tried this you can increase or decrease as needed.

How many drops should be used to make a 4 or 6 oz toner?
Gail D on Nov 30, 2019

Our standard recommendation is 9-18 drops of essential oil per 1oz of carrier oil. In this case, the other ingredients in the mixture will act as the carrier.
