Ingredients:

• 10 drops Lemon Essential Oil

• ½ cup Water

• ½ cup Witch Hazel

Instructions: Add all ingredients in a spray bottle, shake well to combine, then spritz onto a clean cotton pad or washcloth and gently massage into the face.

Can this lemon oil be used directly from the bottle on the face for sunspots/age spots? Am 82 with good skin.
Hi Norma, We do not recommend applying Lemon essential oil directly from the bottle onto the face. Lemon essential oil is highly concentrated and may cause skin irritation if used undiluted. Additionally, lemon oil is phototoxic, meaning it can increase the skin’s sensitivity to sunlight and may lead to irritation or discoloration when exposed to the sun. If you choose to use Lemon essential oil topically, it should always be properly diluted with a carrier oil and a patch test should be performed first to check for sensitivity. Is your lemon essential oil safe to use when cleaning dishes? I read that you'd need a food grade oil in this case. Please advise.
