I combine it with Lavender and Cedarwood in my diffuser at night. I roll the bottle in my hands first to warm up the oil so it is easier to get out of the bottle.

As other reviews stated the only issue is with the dropper. I know this oil is very viscous which is why it needs a different type of “dropper” It’s very frustrating.. The oil itself is great.

Smelled like weed
RMO graciously accepted my return of this oil. My kids said it smelled like “stinky rotten pumpkins” and I thought it had undertone smells of weed/pot! Bleh!Bummed!I’m going to try ordering from another company to see if scent is the same.

Response from Rocky Mountain Oils
Thank you for your review! We are sorry to hear that the oil didn't work out for you.
If you’re ever having problems with your oils dropping from the bottle, here are some quick tips:
1. These droppers also work best when held horizontally (to the side) instead of vertically (upside down).
2. Warm the bottle by holding in hands, placing in a bowl of warm water (to prevent damaging the label put the bottle in a ziplock bag before placing in water)
3. Widen the holes on the orifice reducer with a sterile pin
4. Take the orifice reducer off of the bottle and use a pipette.

Lovely Vetiver
I have used Vetiver by a number of quality labels. This is my favorite. I use Vetiver daily. It soothes my nervous system and helps me breathe more peacefully. I love it's rich deep rooted earthy smell. My favorite oil to mix it with is Geranium.

I have never been able to get a single drop to come out of the bottle, please tell me how I can get it to come out? I'd really like to use it!

BEST ANSWER: Many components play a part in the viscosity (thickness) of an oil. Because essential oils come from a variety of plants (flowers, leaves, herbs, grasses, tree barks, etc.), they differ in viscosity, scent, and color. Thicker oils typically come from the resin or root of the tree or are extracted with the cold press method. Some oils grow thicker and more potent as they age.

Are your oils Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade (CPTG) essential oils? Do you conduct heavy metal and microbrial testing on your oils?
A shopper on Oct 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We do not use the term CPTG as this is specific to different companies. All of our essential oils are 100% pure, natural, therapeutic and organically grown. They are GMO-Free, GC/MS and Pesticide tested. For more information on the testing we conduct, please visit our quality page and our new USDA Organics.

Love your Vetiver! Why do you not use a bottle with glass wand for ease of use? I just ordered a glass bottle and wand off ebay so I can enjoy this Vetiver which is impossible to get out of bottle ...and it is inconvenient to warm up the oil each time I want to use it.
Ash H on Aug 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We carry orifice reducing euro droppers that may help thicker oils to come out of the bottle. Unfortunately we don't carry glass wands at this time, however I will forward this information to upper management to be considered.
