Cooking with Ginger Spice Essential Oil

Simply add 3-6 drops of Ginger Spice Oil to an Allspice Cake mix and prepare according to the normal directions. Top with cream cheese frosting and enjoy!
Apple Ginger Spice Cake

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 drops Cinnamon Bark oil
- 2 drops Ginger Spice oil
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup butter (softened)
- 1 3/4 cups white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 TB warm water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 apples (peeled, cored, and chopped)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter two bread pans. Combine flour, dry spices, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Mix in eggs, essential oils, and vanilla. Stir together soda and 1 tablespoon warm water, and mix into the sugar mixture. Stir in flour mixture and apples until well blended. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for approximately 1 hour, or until a tester comes out clean. Leave in the pan until cool. Once cool, shake pan to loosen cake and turn onto a serving platter or plate. For decoration, dust with confectioners' sugar or add a glaze.
Sweet and Spicy Squash Dish

- 1 pound Butternut Squash
- 2 ounces Butter
- 3 tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 6-10 drops Ginger Spice Oil
- Salt to taste
- Freshly cracked Black Pepper to taste
