Celebrating Women

Happy International Women’s Day!

We are all surrounded by incredible women every day: mothers, sisters, grandmothers, co-workers, bosses, friends, religious and political leaders, etc. And, of course, you cannot forget yourself!

Many days, we might go through life without fully realizing what the women in our lives, as well as the women before us, really mean to us. International Women’s Day is a chance for us to recognize and celebrate women who have taught us incredible lessons of courage, independence, strength, and so much more. It’s an opportunity to honor the women who break barriers and change the world’s outlook on women.

At Rocky Mountain Oils, we celebrate women! Our office is full of and led by powerful and creative women. While the men in our office also play a huge role, our co-owner, Leah; our CEO, Sally; and every other manager and employee at Rocky Mountain Oils have taken large strides and made sacrifices to defy the odds, step up and make a difference, and pave the way for other women to do the same.

We are driven by the goal of empowering women everywhere to live with confidence in themselves and their abilities. We believe that everyone should be able to embrace their own story and become who they want to be without being told that they should be something different. Each woman is unique and has so much to offer, and you deserve to show what you’ve got in whatever way you feel best expresses yourself.

Throughout history, women like Hatshepsut, Joan of Arc, Clara Barton, Jane Addams, Valentina Tershkova, Shirley Chisholm, Rosa Parks, Tarana Burke, Michelle Obama, and countless others have taken a stand against stereotypes and injustice. They have made sacrifices to give us the world we have today, and we can follow in their footsteps to inspire the women around us to stand for what you believe in and make a difference.
