Repels ants like magic
I originally purchased this oil for myself. However, today, I was able to use it for a completely different reason and it worked liked MAGIC. I discovered small ants all over my kitchen out of the blue, so I ran to buy ant traps - which did nothing. However, I then found this oil and poured a few drops along the areas where I found the ants - on the counter and floor. And in less than five minutes, the ants DISAPPEARED. They hate it!

Excellent
I added 15 drops and water to a 2 oz spray bottle and sprayed it on before going outside. It did the job of keeping flies and mosquitoes away.

Works great!
Fantastic product. The citronella smell isn't nearly as offensive in this product as in most other insect repellants. I put a little on the ankles, wrists and temples/ear area and no bugs come near us!

I wanted to try Bug Off particularly on my horses during this fly season.

I love it!
I keep a bottle of bugoff in my purse in a ziplock bag. You never know when you are going to need it. I first used it at a family reunion picnic, just dabbed a couple of drops on my wrists and ankles and neck. It smells very good and I was not bothered by bugs. I've also used it at baseball games, etc. It's a very small, and handy thing to keep around. I used it full strength. I plan to buy the roll-on container and keep it in that, instead. It's very strong smelling, but that's why the bugs don't bug you.

Bugs REALLY were OFF
Bug Off really works! A mosquito landed near me, then turned and flew off! I don't mind being a BAD STENCH to a BUG!!!!

Like it
I put a few drops into a small bottle with purified water, and while I was working outside the Mosquitos & other biting bugs left me alone. I like that I'm not using chemicals to keep he bugs off.

I've made my own blends for keeping bugs away, but recently one of my friends had a bit of a reaction to what I made (I didn't dilute it enough). So this is me being lazy and buying a blend I'm sure will work just as well, without having to worry about turning my friends' skin red.

A shopper on May 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I use Bug Off in this exact way! I put the diffuser out on the porch (there is an outside socket) when we are out there. I also have it going inside the house for those mozzies that make their way indoors. I find it very effective.

is this safe during pregnancy?
A shopper on May 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, we cannot recommend any oils to use during pregnancy. Essential oils are very beneficial for our bodies most of the time. We recommend that any pregnant or breastfeeding customers consult with a medical professional if they choose to use essential oils during this time.
