We all know that sleep is important, but how many of us actually get the recommended 7+ hours of sleep each night? More than a third of American adults are not getting enough sleep on a regular basis according to a study from the CDC. Sleeping less than seven hours each night is associated with an increased risk of developing chronic conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.
With electronics and busy lifestyles, it can be difficult to fall into dreamland when you lay your head on the pillow each night. Establishing a solid sleep routine with cues that it’s time to wind down and go to sleep is not just important for little ones, but for you as well. Whether it be a warm bath, a self-massage, or reading a book, these cues can help you get some shut-eye.
In the same way, smelling a familiar relaxing scent as you hit the pillow can soothe your over-stimulated mind and help you turn off and fall asleep. Our DIY Dreamland Pillow Spray combines the relaxation and calming properties of Lavender, Cedarwood, and Chamomile essential oils, to help you drift off.
What You Need:
To use the spray, lightly mist your pillow a few minutes before bedtime. Be sure to shake the bottle well before each use.
