My son has never been more focused during his distance learning. He is the kid that wants to learn in the classroom so this has been difficult for him and Attention Assist makes it easier. Thank you!

As it is listed with a base of 66% FCO, do i still need to dilute this or can i use it straight from the bottle?
BEST ANSWER: Most blends that contain FCO are not quite prepped for adult topical application. We would recommend to dilute further to a 2%-5% dilution rate for an adult. You can treat the blend as if it were a single essential oil when diluting. We suggest following our dilution chart on the website:

Is this, and other blends, used as is, since they are in a base of Coconut Oil, or do I need to dilute them more with a carrier oil?

Attention Assist

BEST ANSWER: Hello! We do recommend still diluting it with carrier oil to get to a 98% dilution rate. That equals about 1-3 drops of the blend or essential oil for every 1/2 teaspoon of carrier oil.

What's the difference between Attention Assist and Focusing blends? Thanks
BEST ANSWER: Because everyone reacts to oils differently we offer the two blends so that in case of one not giving the desired effect the other may be more beneficial. This is determined by each individuals body chemistry. I would suggest reading the product descriptions of each oil and seeing which one sounds as though it would more apply to you. You can also see the list of ingredients for each blend on the product page.

If I wanted to send this to my child in college, what could she use it with? She doesn't have a diffuser but I have the roll-on bottles I could mix wirh carrier oil...my question is where could she put that topically? Thank you so much.
BEST ANSWER: One of the objectives of the use of essential oils is for the therapeutic properties of the oils to be absorbed into the bloodstream. To best receive these therapeutic benefits, diffusion and topical application are advised. The most common areas for topical application include rubbing the diluted oil on the back of the neck, behind the ear, on the wrist, the bottom of the feet or on the targeted area.

Why do some of the oils contain an FCO?
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for question! We dilute about half of our blends with FCO because they have luxury oils in them. This helps to keep the price affordable for our customers. We're now offering a 5 ml neat version for each of our 12 most popular 15 ml blends that are in a base of Fractionated Coconut Oil (FCO). The term "neat" means undiluted. Even though they are a little pricier, having a neat version of our blends will make it easier to dilute them correctly as well as diffuse with no worries. It also gives customers with coconut allergies a chance to the use our top blends.

I see that this blend is marked as being able to diffuse, but I've heard that blends with a carrier oil (such as FCO) shouldn't be used in an ultrasonic diffuser because it can ruin the diffuser. Is that the case with this blend?
BEST ANSWER: Great question! Our FCO is extremely thin and therefore perfectly safe if contained in a blend to use in a diffuser.

What is the dilution ratio for this oil for topical use? Should I use Jojoba or Fracionated coconut oil for dilution?
BEST ANSWER: The type of carrier oil to use is all up to the customer. We do recommend to dilute to a 2-5% dilution rate for an adult. This is using 3-7 drops of the essential oil per 1 tsp of carrier oil.

Can I diffuse this oil since it has the coconut oil in it?
BEST ANSWER: Great question! Yes, this can be used in a diffuser. We have found that FCO is thin enough to be diffused safely. However, if you are concerned about damaging your diffuser we would suggest reaching out to the diffuser manufacturer for further advice.

What is the dilution amount for a 5 year old? Or, can I put it on him without diluting?
BEST ANSWER: We suggest always diluting when using an oil topically, especially for children. Our recommendation is a 1% dilution for children over the age of 2. This would equal one drop of essential oil to 1 tsp (or 5ml) carrier oil. See our entire dilution chart here: https://www.rockymountainoils.com/dilution-rate/

How can I buy just the neat 5ml? And the 15ml that already has FCO, do you put this straight in the diffuser this way?
The ingredients all seem to be calming ones, so would this blend be good for Diffusion or topical use at BEDTIME???
