Juniper Berry Essential Oil: A Natural Cleansing Agent

Juniper Berry oil (Juniperus communis) is expressed from the berries of the common juniper tree. It has a long history with aromatherapy and health care. The scent makes you think of clean floors and fresh rooms. 

Combines Well With

Vetiver, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Elemi, Galbanum, Cypress, Clary Sage, Pine, Lavender, Fir Needle, Rosemary, Geranium, Orange, Lemon, Tangerine, Rose, Frankincense, Clove Bud

Ways to Use It

  • Invigorates the heart and promotes inner courage.
  • For clarity and strength, diffuse 3 drops Juniper Berry and 3 drops Rosemary.
  • Traditionally was used to protect from evil spirits and is still effective to use to cleanse the mind. Rub a couple of drops in your hands, hold to your face, and inhale the scent deeply. Use especially when the mind needs a spring cleaning.
  • Repels insects.

Soothe Tired Muscles

Add formula to a warm/hot bath and soak for 30 minutes. Can also dissolve formula into 1 cup Epsom salts and add to bath to soften skin.

Forest Scent Body Powder

  • 10 drops Eucalyptus Radiata
  • 10 drops Juniper Berry
  • 5 drops Myrtle
  • 5 drops Lemon
  • 2 tablespoons Corn Starch

Measure corn starch into a wide-mouthed glass jar, add essential oils, and close lid tightly. Allow to sit for at least 24 hours before using. Shake well before using.
