PROMISE
Create a feeling of bright, shining peace and joy with Palmarosa Essential Oil. This invigorating aroma is created by steam distilling the leaves of the Palmarosa grass, which offers a sweet, rose-like scent. It’s also lemony and slightly herbal, with a dry note of geranium.
Palmarosa is also known as Ginger Grass, Rosha, Rosha Grass, and Indian Geranium. It is native to the Indochinese subcontinent and a close relative of Lemongrass. Like Lemongrass, Palmarosa is a natural source of insect-repelling compounds like limonene, geraniol, and citronella. Many people use this essential oil to deter mosquitoes, flies, and other pesky bugs without harsh chemicals.
Other benefits of Palmarosa essential oil include haircare, skincare, and DIY cleaning products. The vibrant floral scent of Palmarosa oil creates a feeling of cleanliness, while its antimicrobial and antifungal properties help sanitize your space against harmful bacteria, viruses, mold spores, and fungi.
In aromatherapy, Palmarosa is a popular choice for supporting brain health and creativity. Try diffusing Palmarosa oil to enhance your focus and concentration, inspire new ideas, and feel more motivated. This essential oil is a great study aid or work-from-home enhancement that will help you tune out distractions.
Palmarosa Essential Oil is part of the Skin Care collection.

Does Palmarosa oil clog pores?
No, Palmarosa essential oil is non-comedogenic, which means it won’t cause pores. Does Palmarosa essential oil keep mosquitoes from biting?
Yes! Palmarosa essential oil contains natural compounds that repel insects, including limonene, geraniol, and citronella. These compounds help give Palmarosa its appealing fragrance and healing properties, but bugs can’t stand them! Palmarosa oil is not a common sleep aid, however, the relaxing properties of this aroma can help people who struggle with insomnia or occasional sleeplessness.
