Winter Frost is a soothing combination of essential oils designed to help you feel calm and cozy, especially during the winter holiday season. It’s a sweet blend of pure Balsam Fir, Orange, White Spruce, Star Anise, Bay Laurel, and Cinnamon Bark essential oils.

As one of our favorite calming diffuser blends, Winter Frost is perfect for creating a moment of peace during a busy day or helping you wind down at night. It’s an essential oil stress relief blend that reduces anxiety, lifts brain fog, and inspires mental clarity while also balancing your emotions. 

Try this blend to promote feelings of comfort and emotional stability or as an essential oil for deep sleep. You can also use it as a DIY fragrance for making homemade candles, soaps, household cleaning products, bath bombs, and more.

• Use this essential oil blend for sleep by diffusing 20-30 minutes before bedtime.
• Dilute with a carrier oil like Fractionated Coconut Oil, then apply a few drops to the forehead, neck, chest, pulse points, or behind the ears and allow the soothing, nostalgic aroma to help you unwind and relax.
• Use it to add a cheerful holiday scent to DIY room sprays, candles, soaps, bath bombs, and more. Homemade products using this blend make a great gift!
• Inhale to clear your mind, release anxiety, and uplift your emotions. This blend also helps enhance your concentration and allows you to meditate more deeply.
• Add 3-5 drops to a warm bath soak to relieve stress and soothe sore, stiff muscles.

Wintertime Cheer Room Spray

Fill your home with the bright, merry scent of winter with this natural room spray that eliminates odors and freshens the air. You can also use this recipe as a linen spray.

• 20-25 drops Winter Frost
• 4 oz. Distilled Water

Instructions: Add oil and water to an empty spray bottle and shake well to combine. Shake again before each use. Mist generously into the air or spritz on linens, pillows, and soft furnishings. Refill the water 3-4 times before adding more oil.

Dilute with a carrier oil and patch test before topical use. To perform a patch test, apply a small amount of oil to one area of the skin and wait 15 minutes to confirm that allergic reaction or sensitivity does not occur.

For external use only. Do not ingest. Do not use near the eyes, nose, mouth, sensitive areas, or on broken skin or abrasions. 

CAUTION: This blend contains Cinnamon Bark essential oil, a “hot” oil that may cause irritation for individuals with sensitive skin. Always dilute with extra carrier oil and do not use topically with heating pads or hot water bottles. It also contains Orange essential oil, which may temporarily increase photosensitivity. Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds when using topically on exposed skin.

KIDS SAFETY: Safe to use on children ages 10 and up. Dilute to a .1-.5% dilution rate before applying topically on children. Click here to learn more.

Practice Safe Diffusing:

• Diffuse in an open, well-ventilated area. 
• Keep children and pets away from the direct line of mist. 
• Diffuse in 30-60-minute intervals with ample break periods in between.
