Spring Cleaning Challenge Day 3: Laundry Room
The laundry room is a space where cleaning gets done, so how can it get so dirty? While we're spending more time indoors, it's time to show this room some extra love with day 3 of our cleaning challenge! Check below for your task list, along with a special DIY washing machine cleaner recipe to remove any funk from your favorite laundry helper.

- Declutter the area
- Wash, dry, and fold remaining laundry (Pro tip: Use Loads of Fun on your Wool Dryer Balls for an extra burst of freshness!)
- Clean the washer inside and out
- Clean the dryer inside and out, removing any lint
- Organize and wipe down any shelving
- Toss out unmatched socks or old clothing
Pure Bliss DIY Washing Machine Cleaner
What You’ll Need:
- 2 cups Baking Soda
- 1 cup Water
- 20 drops Purify
Method:
- In a large bowl, combine ingredients and stir well.
- With your washing machine empty, take a sponge and carefully scrub the mixture along the inside of your washing machine, taking care to get in all the nooks and crannies, and paying special attention to any seals. Do not rinse.
- Run your washing machine on a hot cycle, and allow it to air dry.
