German Chamomile oil is extracted from the flowers of the German chamomile plant, also known as Matricaria chamomilla or Matricaria recutita. The flowers are steam-distilled to produce the essential oil.
During the steam distillation process, steam is passed through the flowers, which causes the oil to separate from the raw plant matter. The steam and oil vapors are then condensed, and the resulting mixture is collected in a receiving vessel. Finally, the oil is filtered from this condensed mixture into its purest essential form and collected in a bottle via decantation.

"I love the oil. I did contact customer service because I could not get the oil to come out of the bottle. I had to remove the top and use a dropper as suggested. I reordered and hopefully I will be able to use the applicator in the bottle since I am losing a lot of the oil with the dropper. Customer service did respond quickly with multiple suggestions. I do love the oil but flawed applicator was the reason I deducted a star."
"I've used the Roman Chamomile before. It is one of my go to oils. I love that Chamomile is even safe for babies :) I am disappointed in RMO as a company though. I decided to try (buy) the German Chamomile in order to get a free Roman Chamomile during a recent sale. Our 11yr old daughter was just diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I used a 5$ off coupon and it brought me $1. 76 below the 75$ requirement. I didn't realize the error until the following morning. I sent them an email as soon as I realized what I did, asking for them to still send me the free Roman Chamomile. It was an honest mistake. . . I've been very overwhelmed to say the least. They never sent it to me 😐 Good oils but not satisfied with customer care."
