Limoncello is a blend of pure Litsea Cubeba, Toasted Coconut, Balsam of Peru, Lemongrass, and Lemon essential oils. Each of these oils is rich in natural antioxidants as well as antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory compounds. When diluted with a carrier oil, you can use this blend topically to tone and bright skin while reducing the appearance of fine lines, sun spots, and other discoloration. It’s also great for adding balance and hydration to hair care products.

Limoncello Essential Oil Blend Uses

• Dilute with a carrier oil and apply topically as a natural perfume that inspires bright, sunny energy and mental clarity.
• Add 3-5 drops to a handheld diffuser to freshen and deodorize your space while naturally repelling insects like mosquitoes and flies.
• When diluted, apply 1-2 drops to the skin to tone, brighten, reduce redness, and fade scars or other areas of discoloration.
• Use as an all-natural fragrance for homemade candles, soaps, bath bombs, hand sanitizer, and cleaning products.

Limoncello Essential Oil Blend Recipes

Sicilian Limoncello Candle

This homemade candle is one of our favorite Limoncello Essential Oil recipes, and makes a great gift! Thanks to the Lemongrass in the oil blend, it can also be used outdoors to keep away insects.

• 1.5 cups Beeswax
• 5ml bottle of Limoncello Blend
• Cotton wicks
• 8 oz. mason jars or other small glass containers

Instructions: Cut the beeswax into small chunks and place in a heat-safe glass measuring cup. Fill a sauce pot halfway with water and bring to a boil, then carefully lower the measuring cup into the boiling water to melt the wax. 

While the wax melts, wrap your wicks over a pencil or skewer and center them over your mason jars or other glass containers. Once the wax is melted, add oil and stir until blended. Pour the wax into the jars. Top with optional decor like lemon peel zest or dried flowers. Allow to cool, then trim the wicks.

Limoncello Essential Oil Blend Safety

For external use only. Do not ingest. Always dilute with a carrier oil and patch test prior to extensive use on the skin. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, mouth, sensitive areas, and broken skin. Do not use it while pregnant or breastfeeding. 

WARNING: This blend contains Lemon essential oil, which may temporarily increase sun sensitivity and risk of sunburn. If using on the skin, avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds for 12 hours after use.
