Migraine Support Massage Cream
  • 30 drops Migraine Support
  • 5 drops Bergamot FCF
  • 1 teaspoon FCO
  • 1 cup Shea Butter

Melt shea butter, remove from heat, and add FCO. Blend in essential oils. Put in container and allow to cool completely. Close lid and label. Massage into affected area 2-3 times a day.

Migraine Support Shampoo
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Liquid Soap
  • 1/2 teaspoon Carrier oil of choice
  • 15-20 drops Migraine Support

Gently stir all of the ingredients together, being careful not to beat the mixture as this will cause it to foam up. Pour the shampoo into a clean squeeze bottle or container of choice. To use, massage a small amount into scalp, leave in for 10 minutes, then rinse well with cool water.

Help for Migrains
I truly believe this product has helped my migraines. The last time I felt one coming on I diffused Migraine Support near my chair as I tried to sleep. The headache was definitely less severe than most.

This essential oil blend is an essential!
For the last few years, I have suffered from migraines due to stress, hormone fluctuation and more. At first I was speculative and wasn’t sure this would actually work, but where Excedrine and my trusty heating pad failed me, this relieved my discomfort and relaxed my muscles. We recently moved, and my husband and I both had cramps in shoulder muscles that lead to headaches too, and this has been a life saver! I have this in a roller bottle and put it at the base of my skull and now my neck and on my temples for quick migraine relief. After the move, we also rubbed this into our shoulder muscles and upper back for muscle relief. It worked so well! I also tried the shampoo recipe and soaked in a bath while it sat in my hair. I think I came out of that bath more relaxed than I have been in awhile. This is certainly an oil I will keep within arms reach!

Best thing ever!
I put this on a cotton ball and have it on my nightstand. It helps me unwind and is just comforting even if I'm not dealing with a migraine. If I am feeling like a migraine is coming on I diffuse or grab the bottle and take a whiff- helps to reduce the overall tension I'd normally feel. May be all psychological but I'll take it! Smells lovely, so whether it cures a migraine or not it's still enjoyable.

What is a carrier oil? I'm new to using oils. I have really bad migraines and am really interested in trying this oil.
Christy on Mar 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: A carrier oil is a vegetable, nut, or seed oil that "carries" the essential oil into the skin. Some examples of carrier oils are Fractionated Coconut, Jojoba, Almond or Grapeseed oil. Many carrier oils have therapeutic properties of their own.

When using essential oils topically on adults, we recommend 1/2 tsp of carrier oil for every 1-3 drops of essential oil. Extra caution should be exercised when using oils on the elderly and children under the age of 12 because their skin is more sensitive. If a question arises, please refer to a trusted health professional or aromatherapist.

What is expiration date?
A shopper on Jun 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Most essential oils do not “go bad” in that they become rancid, but their therapeutic properties can lose potency. If kept in a cool (room temperature or cooler), dark place with the cap tightly sealed, all oils should maintain their therapeutic potency for about 3-5 years. However, citrus oils have a shorter time frame of 1-3 years. Some oils, such as Patchouli, Vetiver and Blue Tansy actually increase in potency.

Is it better to use diluted on skin or is it ok to use full strength on a oil necklace for the migraine relief?
Danielle S on Apr 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We always recommend diluting essential oils at a 2-5% dilution rate when applying them topically on adults. This would be 3-7 drops in 1 teaspoon of carrier oil. For more information, follow the link below to our dilution rates page!

can Migraine Support be safely ingested orally with a carrier oil?
A shopper on Nov 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Excellent question!

Essential oils are very potent and can be dangerous if not used correctly.

All of our oils are 100% pure, natural, and authentic. They are of the quality to be taken internally. However, we cannot provide dosing suggestions or directions on how to ingest if you choose to do so.

If you do choose to ingest the oils, we suggest consulting an Aromatherapist or trusted health professional for guidance. Follow the link below for help finding an aromatherapist.
