Terrible
This oil does not smell anything like cucumber. It smells like old oil. No other scent. Just oil. Don't waste your money.

Not the same as Native American Cucumber Seed Oil
I have been purchasing the Cucumber Oil from Native American Nutritionals for years, and it smelled heavenly. This stuff is simply NOT the same. I don't know what is going on, but I am VERY disappointed, as this was one of my favorite oils before Native American Nutritionals merged with Rocky Mountain Oils. I have an essential oils collection worth thousands of dollars, and years of knowledge using Essential Oils. I mention this, so that the those who read these reviews will not easily dismiss my comment here. I am not some rookie, who hasn't got a clue about Essential Oils. While Rocky Mountain has improved the packaging, labeling, and the website...the Jury is still out on whether or not I trust them in regards to their quality, and for this reason alone, I have started looking elsewhere for my essential oils. This company needs to do a better job at convincing people like me, that they indeed have the same passion and standards as Native American Nutritionals once did.

Does Not Smell Like Cucumber!
This oils smells rancid. It stinks. The first time I bought it, it was great. But this one is terrible and I plan on returning it and asking for a refund. I wouldn't use this on my skin or in a diffuser.

What happened???
I have been buying these oils since they were under the name Native American Nutritionals... the changeover has been horribly disappointing. I don't know if the recipes changed as well, or the source of the oils... but the cucumber smells, and thus FEELS, terrible! It was not like like this before. Cucumber was one of the most refreshing and soothing scents. I hope they fix this :(.

Simply wonderful oil,I,m 64 and my skin has started to thin and dry out very easily. So after a little research I discovered Cucumber Seed Oil. I must say it makes my skin, especially my face, feel smooth as a babies bottom. So I trade off with Carrot Seed Oil too, both are very good for mature skin I think any why! Thank you for continuing to make HIGH quality Essential Oils, because I only buy yours.

it stinks! really.
Anyone who has experience with cucumber oil knows how sweet and pleasant the aroma should be. This is my second try to see if the last terrible batch was a fluke. Evidently not. this one is horrible. RMO was kind enough to refund my order last time, but insisted they were legit. But something is not right. The smell is no where near the sweet scent of cucumber oil. And BTW, I've had the same exact problem with neroli. I use them both for facial formulations for other reasons but the scent was really important. Like I said, these last two batches were uncharacteristically smelly. I'm so disappointed and don't know where to go for more. Don't waste your money or time with this or neroli.

Smells rancid, however....
Smells rancid. Not sure it is, but it definitely does not have a fresh smell. Earthy is a good description. This is my first ever bottle of cucumber seed so I'm definitely not a expert, but based on the other reviews I don't think the smell is normal. I'm going to finish off the bottle using it in my facial moisturizer, but I definitely will not be able to difuse this one like I had hoped, nor do I expect to smell nice wearing it. I love RMO though, and I understand that essential oils are a real and natural product effected by weather, cultivation practices, and many other variables. No two batches are exactly alike. That doesn't mean they aren't good for you

Doesn't smell good
I know from previous purchases that not all batches of cucumber oil smell good. It is still a rich emollient and great for the skin, but doesn't have that fresh smell. Rather bad this batch, actually!

Please let me know when you have a new batch!
I loved the scent of my old cucumber seed oil. It brought me such joy! The scent was sweet. This batch was so disappointing. I bought two. They both smelled horrible. I'm sad! But oh well. Maybe the next batch will smell better. Please let me know when the scent changes.
