DIY Essential Oil Gift Bow
Looking for ways to make your gift pop? Consider making your gift part of the design! By including one of our Essential Oil Roll-On products, you can add a fun and quirky look to any present.
What You’ll Need:
- Ribbon (You can also use twine, lace, fabric, or burlap — have fun with it!)
- Scissors
- Roll-On Essential Oil
Method:
- Cut your ribbon to size, allowing it to wrap around the box securely with ample space to tie a bow.
- Holding the two ends of the ribbon, make a simple knot, and place the desired roll-on securely on top.
- Loop each end of the ribbon, and bring the left side around and under the right loop. Pull until the loops are a similar size, and the roll-on is snug and secure.
Holiday Gift Spritz
Give your gift recipient a therapeutic experience right from the start with this fun and aromatherapeutic spray. Play around with some of your favorite holiday essential oils to really personalize this DIY.
What You’ll Need:
- 2oz spray bottle
- 1oz distilled water
- 1oz witch hazel or rubbing alcohol
- 10 drops of preferred essential oil (We recommend Peppermint, Nutmeg, Orange, or Clove)
Add all ingredients into the spray bottle, and shake well to incorporate. Spritz on your holiday cards for a bright surprise, or gently mist on your gift’s wrapping or tissue paper for a quick and cheerful burst that will have your gift recipient smiling before they even open your present!
Scented Holiday Cards
Sending out holiday cards is a long-loved tradition for many families and friends. This year, step things up a notch and make your holiday cards even more memorable and special by adding a little bit of aromatherapy to your stationary.
What You’ll Need:
- Large Ziploc Bag
- Cotton Ball
- Preferred Essential Oil (We recommend an oil from our Christmas Morning Holiday Kit!)
- Holiday Cards
Method:
After writing out your holiday cards, place them into the large Ziploc bag. Add 1-3 drops of your preferred essential oil to the cotton ball and place inside the Ziploc bag, taking care not to make contact with the paper. Seal the bag tightly, and let sit for at least 24 hours to ensure the stationary is properly scented. When it comes time to send your holiday cards, simply remove from the bag and place into an envelope, and rest happy knowing that your recipient will get a bright burst of scent when they go to open their holiday card!
