I added spruce and sweet orange to the cinnamon bark for a delightful Christmasy blend. Cinnamon bark has a sweet bakery like smell.... I will definitely buy it again!

RMO is Absolutely the Best!!
Cinnamon is my favorite smell of all oils. Especially during the holidays. RMO by far has the best smelling cinnamon out there. Bought 2 on Black Friday sell and many others. To my delight I got another one in my Mystery Grab Bag!! Also in the bag was Perspective, which has my other favorite oils in it, along with Basil. Perspective was a perfect pick for me right now. You nailed it RMO! Thanks?? Denise G.

Love it
It smells great!! I didn't buy it to use in the personal diffuser, but put in to try the diffuser out and I love it so much. Will continue to use this way. Good for cleaning and disinfecting and smells great too!

Can you take this internally?
BEST ANSWER: Essential oils are very potent and can be dangerous if not used correctly. We do not give recommendations for ingestion as the body can safely absorb essential oils by topical application or diffusion. All of our oils are 100% pure, natural, and authentic.
If you do choose to ingest the oils, we suggest consulting an Aromatherapist or trusted health professional for guidance. As a company we cannot provide dosing suggestions or directions on how to ingest if you choose to do so.

what is the difference between cinnamon bark and cinnamon leaf? thanks!
BEST ANSWER: The biggest difference is that the Cinnamon Bark essential oil is extracted from the bark and Cinnamon Leaf from the leaf of the plant. Cinnamon Bark is definitely a much stronger choice when it comes to the wonderful spicy aroma and is much "hotter".

I see that this only mentions topical and household. Does that mean it’s not used in a diffuser?
BEST ANSWER: Cinnamon Bark is also safe to diffuse. The topical and household icon is simply the best-recommended use. Diffusion can still be beneficial and is not harmful.

How long is this oil good for?
BEST ANSWER: Excellent question! Our oils do not have an expiration date. Essential oils do not “go bad” in that they become rancid, but their therapeutic properties can lose potency. If kept in a cool (room temperature or cooler), dark place with the cap tightly sealed, all oils should maintain their therapeutic potency for about 3-5 years. However, citrus oils have a shorter time frame of 1-3 years. Some oils, such as Patchouli, Vetiver and Blue Tansy actually increase in potency.

Are your products of essential oils with organic ?
BEST ANSWER: This specific oil is not USDA Organic Certified but it is from a source that uses organic and natural practices in regards to growing and harvesting. Until recently, we have not had government USDA Certified Organic oils. Certifying essential oils as organic is a very long, expensive and extensive process. If you are interested in the USDA Certification we do have an organic line: https://www.rockymountainoils.com/organic-essential-oils/

I just purchased this from your Amazon store (needed quickly) and the bottle was clear with a white lid. I thought you only used uv proof bottles? Typically with a black cap?
BEST ANSWER: Good question! Please send a photo of the bottle to support@rockymountainoils.com and we can look into this further.
