I really wanted to try this because I love the smell (and flavor) of wintergreen Lifesavers. I know it sounds odd to order an EO based on something like this, but I'm just being honest here.

Right away I knew I was in love! The smell is EXACTLY like that of a Lifesaver! It doesn't linger for hours like some strong EOs can. It is somewhat sweet and very light.

As an added bonus, in case you're worried about leakage in shipping, let me share with you what happens should this occur.

I ship to a PO Box and often don't get my mail for weeks at a time. I knew this order was coming, so I wanted to make sure I got to the mail same day. I did, on a Saturday, only to discover that my bottle had leaked significantly in shipping.

3 days later, on a Tuesday, (I'm a procrastinator like that) I contacted customer service to see what, if anything, could be done to get it replaced.

The customer service was excellent!! They have shipped a replacement to me right away and it was absolutely hassle free! I was asked for the 6 digit batch number on the bottom of the bottle, but it had been rubbed off considerably and smudged anything that was left on it. Even not having this wasn't an issue! Thank you, RMO for such excellent customer service!

Love the smell
My husband and I love this oil, it's one of our top favorites for the smell alone. I'm planning on making some soap and lotion bars with it, but have already used it with other mint oils for pain relief on sore muscles, helped with breathing during allergies and illnesses and my husband can't decide if the wintergreen or spearmint is his favorite scent but I think he leans more towards the wintergreen so we're finding more and more ways to use it and it made our must have list which had been growing the last couple years.

I am relatively new to the EO world, and a wholesale customer with doTerra. After reading several encouraging reviews for RMO (I have even heard that the quality is on par with YL), I decided to order an oil I have not yet tried. I received the Wintergreen EO within 4 days of ordering with the free shipping (fast - kudos).

Upon opening the bottle I could note that the scent was what I would expect genuine Wintergreen to smell like. I diffused a few drops of this with a few drops of Lavender oil last night prior to bed and enjoyed the relaxing aroma.

The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars was that the oil drops did not dissipate/break down into the water in my diffuser like with my doTerra single oils, but sat on top as if a carrier oil were present (blends).

I also placed an order for Copaiba, so will be excited to receive and try that! Will look forward to trying different oils that I have always wanted to try, but would not purchase due to price (thinking Ravintsara and Sandalwood next) or inferior quality (Radha Beauty was gifted to me last Christmas - scents were very chemical).

Is this interchangeable with spearmint and peppermint? What are the advantages to having the different mints?
Mel L on Sep 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Wintergreen, Spearmint and Peppermint are extracted from very different plants so they do have different use's and aroma's. We would suggest reading through the description to see the different uses.
