As compared to NEAT Sandalwood, this Blend of Sandalwood has an extremely mild scent. Definitely note this before purchasing! Personally, I prefer this diluted version as it works well blended with other oils, and if I add it to my skin-care routine it's not overwhelming on my face since its smell seems a bit sweeter and less woodsy when diluted. It's also a very affordable way to get Sandalwood without paying premium for NEAT! I love blending this with RMO's Blend of Neroli and Lavender Greece!
This blend of Sandalwood is an economic option that smells wonderful! I was concerned about reviews that suggested it was too lightly scented, but I was planning to wear this as an oil that I rub onto my skin. When used in that way it smells wonderful.
It’s a blend. Sandalwood is expensive and having some is better than none right now. A lot of the reviews say that there no smell. This is not true unless your nose doesn’t work. The smell isn’t overpowering but it is fantastic. Very calming and uplifting. I love sandalwood. Yes pure is better, but this blend is great and it mixes fantastic. I mainly bought this to wear and to mix in roller blends, so a blend is perfect.
I use a mixture of this with Blend of Rose and Blend of Neroli on my face every night. My skin soaks it in, feels wonderfully soft without oiliness, and smells so clean. I only use moisturizer when I need to wear sunblock.. I wish there was an essential oil that acted as a sunblock.
Since I received my first bottle of Sandalwood, I have used it several times alone and have blended it with other oils in diffusers and topical. I love how mild and refreshing the scent is and how it adds a pleasant scent with several other oils. I will definitely will be keeping this on hand.
This was my first purchase from RMO. The blend came out of the bottle easy and had a great scent. I applied the Blend of Sandalwood on my skin with a little bit of Patchouli - got some positive feedback from a lady shopping.
Very pleasant scent! It was much lighter than I expected however, and when diffusing it on it's own it was not very strong/easy to detect. I mix it with tea tree oil in the diffuser and it's very nice.
Love sandalwood, but the blend is not very powerful
I love sandalwood, it is one of my favorite fragrances. I took advantage of a recent sale and bought this blend because the pure sandalwood oil is too expensive for me right now.
I diffused it and it was really amazing! It smells so good!
It was easily a 5-star oil for the smell and uplifting effect (and I think I will buy the pure sandalwood oil), but I found this blend to be a little "underpowered", as I had to use many drops (not easy to get from the bottle because the oil is a little thick) to smell it. I knew that the fragrance could not have been as strong as with pure oils, but I expected a little more.

Is the strength of scent anywhere near as strong as the older version of ‘blend of sandalwoods’? I loved that 5ml neat, and after buying the blend of vanilla and getting zero scent out of that, I’m concerned about ordering this one. I miss the 5ml neat option!

BEST ANSWER:The most comparable to the "blend of Sandalwoods" would be our single Sandalwood essential oil. Which is neat. Our Blend of Sandalwood is diluted to a 10% dilution.
Can I add a few drops of the RMO Sandalwood oil to this Sandalwood Blend for a stronger scent? According to the reviews, the blend needs a higher ratio of pure sandalwood to be able to detect the scent.
The Sandalwood Blend smells nice, but you need to use several drops to be able to smell it. I use it in a diffuser with several other oils, and it gives some depth to the overall fragrance. I would definitely add some of your pure Sandalwood to give it a stronger fragrance.
